NEWLY REFURBISHED & UPDATED TO MODERN STANDARDS (new kitchen, new floors, new bathrooms, new furniture!), Villa Velure is beautifully situated near the scenic Castelo Beach in the sun-drenched Algarve, Southern Portugal, but also close to other beaches like Gale, Lourenco, Evaristo and Sao Rafael

In this peaceful location you can enjoy the privacy of your own secluded swimming pool and the relaxing ambience of this large characteristic child friendly villa.

Use of the games court is exclusively for guests of Villa Velure and kids love it.

From the terraces and the 2 upstairs balconies, there are panoramic views of the rugged Algarvian hills, Monchique Mountain and the ocean.

Although the villa is in a quiet cul-de-sac, with plenty of greenery around including some majestic trees, everything is at your finger tips: beaches, good selection of restaurants, bars including 1 disco bar, tapas bar, minimarket and supermarket, bus stop, hairdresser and beauty salon, beach/pool accessories and souvenir/gift shop, tourist info, golf and car rental office, taxi rank, are all within walking distance.

Great family space

Really enjoyed our stay, 5 adults and 1 toddler, the space was perfect and the layout worked with a bedroom and ensuite on groubd floor for baby and parents!! Only complaint was lack of air conditioning upstairs, it was sweltering. There was some building work nearby but that is just life and will be finished at some point.

Super house .. very comfortable with tons of space inside & outside and very well appointed . Great location … beaches and restaurants in easy walking distance and we loved the pool & games court too . Owners were very informative and helpful & whole experience could not have been better .. thank you .

Perfect for all 9 of us, age range 5 to 78!! Lots of space inside and out. Bars, restaurants, beaches & supermarkets all 10 to 20 minute walk away. Would recommend for any family holiday.

Easter family getaway

We had a great stay overall at this villa. The villa is extremely spacious and its easy to find a quiet spot from the family if you want some peace and quiet. There is loads to explore in the area. We stayed for 10 days and were still making new discoveries on the final night. Make sure to check the status of local restaurants as it seems a few have not survived the slump in tourism income caused by covid. The beaches are absolutely stunning and within walking distance. Only slight disappointment was the sports court being quite unkempt, and the sports equipment being old - a broken racket and deflated balls in the garden area. But still we really didn't get time to have used it anyway with so much to do! A few broken tiles in the pool to be mindful of too. Check in process was smooth and clear. No regrets at booking this villa! Will recommend :)

September visit

Stayed at this lovely villa for 10 days in September 2020 with my wife and another couple. We are all in our 50s or 60s. Found the location of the villa to be perfect for us. Quiet enough to relax with constant noise and disturbance. Yet close enough to walk to some nice bars , restaurants and the beach. It was also only a short taxi ride into the heart of albefuira when you wanted a little livelier nightlife. The villa itself was clean , specious and well equipped. There were only the 4 adults in our party but I believe there is plenty of room for 8 adults to share this villa without a problem. Definitely recommended
