The open plan living area has spectacular views of the Sonnblick Mountain and is equipped with flat screen TV, DVD and CD player. The gondola is 200m away and Rauris is one of the best places to learn to ski with tree lined runs ideal for beginners and intermediates alike. Summer also has many local activities including walking, cycling, gold panning, white water rafting and many more. In December 2008 the adjoining Wellness Centre is due to open (with indoor/outdoor swimming pool, sauna, massage, bar and restaurant) with free access to all guests.

Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds.
The preferred rental period is Saturday to Saturday, other options may be possible. 75 euros per rental for cleaning and linen change.
Changeover day
The preferred day for changeover is Saturday. Departure before 10am with arrival not before 2pm to allow for cleaning.

All towels and linen are provided and the property will be professionally cleaned before and after your stay. A fee of 75 euros is will be charged for cleaning. |
Notes on accommodation
The apartment has a secure intercom entry system and there is also sufficient parking provided for the apartments. The apartment has underfloor heating which can be controlled in each room. As the apartment is on the ground floor it is ideal for children and guests with mobility problems.

Accessibility
The apartment is on the ground floor and could therefore be suitable for people with mobility problems.
Outside
There is a large decked area with outside seating and barbecue and a grassed area for children to play. In December 2008, occupants of the apartment will have free access to the new adjoining Wellness Centre. This includes an indoor/outdoor pool, children's play pool, sauna gym, massage and bar/restaurant.
Golf
There are many golf courses in the surrounding area. Please ask for details.
Skiing
The main gondola is less than 200m away. The long tree lined runs are fantastic for beginners and intermediates and there are two great ski schools in Rauris for children and adults alike. If you want to ski in the surrounding area Zell am See and Kaprun (20 mins), Bad Hofgastein (25 mins) and Kitzbuhl (1 hr away) are very worth a visit.
Travel
Salzburg is the nearest airport which is 1 hour away, this can be reached by the budget airlines from various UK airports. All the main car hire companies have concessions at Salzburg Airport which is very convenient. There is a rail service which travels from Salzburg to Taxenbach (10 mins from Rauris) and then either a bus or Taxi will take you to Rauris itself.
Distances
Salzburg is 1 hour away by car.
Zell am See is 20 minutes away by car
Bad Hofgastein/Bad Gastein are 25-30 mins away by car.
Further details
Rauris is a small town but very well provided for. It has 2 supermarkets, post office, 2 banks (with cash machines), various other shops and a tourist information office (the Salzburgerland Karte can be purchased from here and this gives you discounts for free access to many attractions within Salzburgerland). There are many hotels and restaurants within Rauris and the nearby village of Worth. There are also several local bars which are worth a visit.
Booking notes
Please enquire via email or phone number provided. A £100 deposit is required within one week of booking, with final payment made 8 weeks prior to occupancy. A £200 cheque for potential damages should also be sent with the deposit (this will be returned one week after the holiday).
