Accessibility
The apartment is newly built and serviced by a lift, there is a ramp to the front door and is suitable for guests with limited access however as a ski resort we can not guarantee the drive or path will be kept free of snow/ice.
Outside
Large private balcony (40 meters) with seating for 6 people. The building also has communal gardens with ample space for children to make a snowman/play. There is a public swimming pool and large recreation park within two minutes walk of the building.
Coast/Beach
Swimming lake 5km, outside public swimming pool 2 minutes walk.
Skiing
Situated in the centre of this famous world cup ski resort, the apartment is just 1 minutes walk from the main town centre lift station.
Schladming offers 186km of piste with 46 mountain restaurants and is part of Europe's largest ski alliance (ski Amade with 860km of piste on 1 lift card).
Travel
Car not essential. Cheap airport transfers available and the property is well served with ski bus/short walk to shops- restaurants.
Salzburg airport 90km (50 minutes), Graz 2 hours 180km, Munich 2.5 hours 250km. Salzburg has Ryanair, Thompson, Flybe, Air Lingus, BA and many other budget carriers. We can arrange/recommend airport transfers.
Distances
We are in Schladming with Christmas candle light markets and a farmers market on Friday, Ramsau (4.5km) famous for its cross country skiing, mountain walks and its Glacier (12km) is close to hand. Salzburg is 1 hour, Graz 2 hours. Lots of castles, lakes and interesting tourist attractions close to the apartment. The Glacier is worth visiting - 12km away.
Further details
Shops, banks, supermarkets are all in the town open Monday- Saturday. Indoor and outdoor pools just 2 minutes walk away. Swimming lake at Pichl 5km. Ennsweg family cycle route follows river just 2 minutes away on foot. Rafting and canyoning from Schladming. Excellent value mountain huts open summer and winter with local food. Bars and apres ski in town - 1 minutes walk.
