A lovely small newly built one bedroom country house with a natural garden and a small pool. It has an open solution living/dining room with a kitchen. Perfect for couples or friends who want to get away from it all, yet close enough to the mountain villages and the Town of Soller on the West Coast of Mallorca for shopping or entertainment. There are 2 outside sitting areas.

Changeover day
Generally Saturdays, especially in high season.
Accommodation

| Kitchen: | There is a gas cooker with oven and a fridge/freezer. |
| Living Rooms: | There is a nice size sitting area with a Jutol (iron stove), sofa, easy chairs and a coffee table. There is a TV and a CD player. There is a dining table inside as well as two wooden tables with benches outside for al fresco dinners during the summer. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and linen are changed weekly and are included in the rate. The property is cleaned on a weekly basis and the pool a few times per week by the owner. |
Notes on accommodation
The house is built in the typical old Mallorquin way with thick walls to keep it cool in the summer. They use solar energy.

Outside
There is 3000 metres of land around the house and gorgeous views over the Soller valley and the surrounding mountains. There is an old well just outside the house and 2 wooden tables with benches. There is a pool 3 x 5 metres and 90cm to 1.90m deep in the garden surrounded by olive trees.
Coast/Beach
The closest beach is down in Puerto Soller, 7km from the house. The beaches here are mixed pebble, sand and rocky.
Golf
The closest golf course is about 25 minutes drive away in Son Termens.
Travel
The airport is about 45 mins drive from the house. Palma is 30 mins drive and the closest big town, where you can find everything you need for your holiday is Soller, 5-10 mins drive depending on which road you take.
Distances
The nearest villages are Biniaraix and Fornalutx, both very pretty picturesque mountain villages. A nice walk to both. With a car (which is recommended to have as it is quite a climb up to the house) you can go the scenic route to Pollensa and Formentor which is spectacular and stop on the way at Sa Calobra and the Lluc Monastery. There are lots of nice hikes to do in the area, most of them marked.
Further details
In Fornalutx there is a grocery store, banks, postal service, hairdressers/beautician, bars and restaurants. In Soller you have all of that and a lot more that you might need or want to make your perfect holiday. Every Saturday it is market-day in Soller.

Send us an email if you want to make a booking and we will send you the bank transfer details. A 20% deposit is needed to guarantee your booking and rest payment is due one month prior to arrival. Please make sure you pay the transfer charge or the correct amount will not reach us.
