Fornalutx has several times been voted to be one of the prettiest and best preserved villages in Spain. Our house is situated high up in a peaceful part of the village, no cars or motorbikes – steps instead of streets. Due to this it overlooks the roof tops of Fornalutx and offers a marvellous view of the Tramuntana Mountains. The house is traditionally built and beautifully restored with lots of white and terracotta. It is sunny and bright and furnished in an easy mix of antique and contemporary. To the house belongs a garden with both sun and shade, citrus fruits, herbes and an olive tree. It has an outdoor kitchen under roof with running water and a stone BBQ. The charming village square with its church, cafés, restaurants, supermarket etc is only a few minutes walk away. Fornalutx offers great hospitality and everything you need for a fantastic holiday!

Changeover day
Normally from Saturday to Saturday with access to the house from 3pm on arrival day and exit by 10am on departure day. If the house is not let out the week before your arrival an earlier access may be possible. We are also flexible with the changeover day

All linens and towels (except beach towels) are included. Cleaning is on a weekly basis and will be charged at 10 euros per head/week, minimum charge 40 euros/week. |
Notes on accommodation
There are electric radiators in all rooms, roof fans in the bedrooms and this makes the house suitable for all year round rental. Please note that the high location of the house makes it less suitable for elderly with walking problems and for children in the age of 1-3. This is a non smoking house. Pets are considered.

Outside
Beautiful garden with outdoor kitchen with running water and a stone BBQ. Citrus- and olive trees, herbes, agapantho etc. The dining area offers fantastic mountain views and is furnished with a large table and chairs, all in teak and a parasol. Furthermore a smaller teak table with two directors chairs, a teak sofa, two teak steamer sunloungers, one teak sunbed and an additional foldable sunbed. In the shade, under the roof of the outdoor kitchen, it is also possible to put up a hammock and a hanging baby cot.
Coast/Beach
10 minutes drive to Puerto Soller with its beaches, restaurants, bars and lively marina. 25 minutes drive to Cala Deia with crystal clear water and its fish restaurant 'hanging' on a cliff. 5 minutes drive to the charming town Soller.
Golf
Son Termens is the closest golf course and is about 20 minutes drive towards S´Esglaieta (through the Soller tunnel).
Travel
Car hire is recommended as there is no public transport to Fornalutx. We always use "Llaser - rent a car" in Puerto Soller.
Distances
2-3 minutes walk to the plaza in Fornalutx.
5 minutes drive to Soller.
10 minutes drive to Puerto Soller.
25 minutes drive to Deia/Cala Deia.
20 minutes drive to Son Termens golf course.
30 minutes drive to Palma.
35 minutes drive to Palma airport.

Prices are for the property per week in Euros. For rentals during other periods, please contact us by email. 50% deposit upon booking, paid by bank transfer. The rest of the rent to be paid directly to our contact person in Fornalutx on arrival.
