This typically older style Mallorcan villa is full of character. It is directly on the sea. Situated in the center of the older, quieter part of Cala D'or. Overlooking the entrance to the port and the open sea. Just a 3 minute walk from Cala D'or beach and the village,bars and restaurants. It is comfortably furnished and set on two levels. There is a large kitchen, open-plan lounge/dining room with French windows leading to an outdoor dining area overlooking the port. The barbecue area is covered and situated by the side of the pool.

Changeover day
Friday or Saturday is changeover day. The villa will be ready for occupancy at 2 p.m. on the day of arrival, and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. Unless previous arrangements have been made and confirmed in writing.

Notes on accommodation
There are ceiling fan in most of the rooms and standing fans in the other rooms for use of the clients. Cots and highchairs are available for rent. There is a safety fence that can be put around the pool for younger children.

Outside
There are mature well kept gardens around villa. A covered BBQ area with dining table and seating for 8,. The private pool is 8x4m. The patio around the pool has 8 sunbeds. The upstairs patio leads off the lounge area has a dining table that also seats 8,it also had built in stone seating, there is natural shade in this area.
Coast/Beach
There are 7 sandy coves in Cala D'or. Cala D'or beach is the nearest to the villa a 3 minutes walk from the villa. The other 6 range from a 6 minute walk to a 15 min drive. There is a land train that will take you to and from all the beaches.
Golf
The villa is a 15 min drive from the local golf course. This is a very good course set on the hill side with wonderful views of the sea. There is also a swimming pool and restaurant for the use of clients and their guests
Travel
The airport is Palma it is 45 mins from Cala D'or. Car hire is not essential. Airport transfers can be arranged if required.
Distances
Cala D'or is the nearest village. Santanyi is the nearest town. There are many local markets held in the villages and towns near to Cala D'or. Places of interest can be visited either by car or there are many day excursions that can be booked from Cala Dor. Palma is a beautiful city and well worth a visit.
Further details
The villa is within 3 minutes walking distance of the center of Cala d'or with its bars, restaurants and shops. The port has shops, restaurants and bars and is on the villas doorstep. Airport transfers can be arrange on request.
Booking notes
A bookings request must be made by email, text or telephone enclosing your address and telephone numbers. A deposit of 30% is payable with the balance due 10 weeks before your booking date.
Guest comments
The villa was only rented to the end of 2006 as it has been a private family home until then. Out of the 4 bookings taken that year 3 of the parties booked for 2007 and again for 2008.As we have now been taking bookings since 2006 many of our guest now return year after year.They have found the villa in a perfect position, being so near to the village, yet very quiet and peaceful. They liked the fact that they don't have to have car hire.
