Our luxury apartment is located in Cala Egos, Cala d'Or, and is close to local shops, restaurants and the beautiful cove of Es Forti. It is a short stroll away from the fashionable Cala D'Or Marina which has a miriad of excellent restaurants. In one of the most sought after complexes in Cala d'Or, it is ideal for both families and couples. The secure gated aspect to the compex ensures extra peace of mind with children. Facilities include an olympic size swimming pool with jacuzzi and children's pool and the added convenience of its own competitively priced bar and snack bar. Boasting a high level of furnishing, the apartment also has UK TV, (with kids entertainment) a wireless computer connection (free if asked for), 2 bathrooms, a utillity room and a highly equipped kitchen. All home comforts are well catered for, leading to an enjoyable and relaxing holiday.

Changeover day
Arrival after 2pm, Departure before 10am. Late departures may be possible subject to request.
Arrival/departure dates can generally be flexible, however, Friday to Friday is necessary throughout July and August.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with 6ft (1.8m) superking size bed, spacious built in wardrobes with hangers, bedside tables, lamps and a hairdryer.
Bedroom 2 with 2 x 3ft (0.9m) single beds, can act as double bed. Built in wardrobes, and space for a pull down 3rd bed.
Bathrooms: Bathroom 1 comprises a full size bath, over-head shower, twin basins and toilet.
Bathroom 2 comprises a spacious shower, basin and toilet.
Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen with full size oven and hob, large fridge with top freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Extra finishing touches include children's cutlery, crockery, double toaster and cafetiere.
Utility Room: This fully equipped utility room stores an iron, ironing board, washer, pull down 5th bed, bedside for small children (plus portable door gate, travel cot and high chair). There is also a rail for coats/jackets and storage for inflatables and kids toys.
Living Rooms: A spacious lounge opening out to a large patio directly overlooking the superb pool. Recently furnished to a high specification. Satellite TV with all UK channels, DVD player (multi region), CD/FM Hi-Fi. Sofa and armchairs, dining table and chairs.
Other: The patio is furnished with large wooden table and chairs for outside dining (including 2 comfortable loungers). A small children's table and brightly coloured chairs are also in situ. A large clothes airer is available for drying purposes.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
All bathroom towels and bedroom linen are changed weekly and are of a high quality and co-ordinated. The property is cleaned weekly. A welcome pack of tea, milk, water, bread, butter, wine etc is waiting on arrival.

 

Notes on accommodation
This luxurious apartment is ideal for couples or families with children due to the secure gateing surrounding the complex. Most children's/babies extras are included with under sink cupboard safety catch and stair gate, bed side, cot stored in the utillity room. Well maintained garden areas, a children's play room and a pool side bar next to the 50m pool and waterfalls all lend themselves to an extremely relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Full air-conditioning and heating system throughout the apartment.

Accessibility
The apartment is sadly not suitable for wheelchair use, however, pushchairs pose no problem.

Outside
Set in beautiful, well maintained gardens with a 50m olympic size swimming pool with waterfalls, the complex also boasts a shallow pool for children and outdoor jacuzzi. The friendly managers at our well-stocked bar and snack bar (for residents only) serve popular snacks and drinks throughout the afternoon and early evening. Fortnightly barbecue evenings are extremely successful in the high season. New sunloungers and umbrellas around the pool area are provided free to residents. Underground parking is provided keeping the car cool in the summer. This can all be enjoyed with the peace of mind that this is a secure complex which can only be accessed by key holders and residents. A sea water pool eroded from the cliffs is situated a few minutes walk to the left of the apartments.

Coast/Beach
The picturesque coves of Cala Egos and the surrounding area are close by with the unspoilt Mondrego beach (and beach bar/restaurant) accessible by the local road train or a 10 minutes drive away by car. Water activities including diving, bike hire, boating trips and tennis can all be found locally.

Golf
Mallorca has excellent golf facilities across the island. The apartment is within 10mins of the 18 hole Vall d'Or golf club. Relaxing, eating or having an afternoon drink at the excellent restaurant on the club grounds is well worth trying.

Travel
Palma airport is approx. 45 minutes drive from the apartment. Taxis can be pre-booked if required (60-70 euros for 4 people each way), otherwise many good value car hire companies operate directly out of the airport, making pick up and drop off of vehicles very convenient. Driving on the island is fairly easy with well-signposted directions and good dual-carriageways (one runs the majority of the way from the airport to the apartment). Many quaint villages with weeky markets can be visited.

Distances
The apartment is well located at a 5 minute walk from the local shops and rich choice of restaurants in Cala Egos, and about 15 minutes walk to the exclusive Cala D'Or Marina. The main area of Cala D'Or is a 5 minute drive but well worth a leisurely stroll taking in the Marina along the way.

Booking notes
A 30% deposit is required to secure bookings, with the remaining 70% due 8 weeks prior to departure. A £100 cheque is held (uncashed) incase of damages - to date this has never been cashed.
