Notes on accommodation
The property benefits from a heating and air-conditioning system, making it highly desirable for both summer and winter breaks. Children are very welcome and the gated complex is considered secure for children of all ages with the usual sensible precautions. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and offer plenty of space for children to exercise themselves.

Accessibility
Ground floor location suitable for elderly but not considered suitable for wheelchair access. Occupants must be able to climb stairs to first-floor bedroom.

Outside
Choice of several freeform outdoor swimming pools within a few metres of the property. Heated 25-metre indoor swimming pool. Showers, changing and toilet facilities available at all pool locations. Table tennis and communal BBQ at lower pool complex. The property is highly recommended for families, being gated and secure.

Coast/Beach
Port Adriano beach is located approx 500 metres south of the apartment and is approx 10-15 mins walking or 3 mins by car. Santa Ponsa beach is a 5 minute drive away. Both beaches offer excellent facilities, clean water and a good availability of local bars and restaurants. Further afield, there are over 50 other beaches to choose from, as well as mountains and shopping in Palma, Portals Nous or nearby Santa Ponsa.

Golf
Mallorca is a golfers paradise and there are currently 14 courses around the island. Santa Ponsa has two Championship golf courses, both of which have staged the Balearic Open. As a visitor, you can only play on Santa Ponsa 1, the other two courses being reserved exclusively for shareholders. Santa Ponsa 1 is a par-72 course at 6,106m. Green fees are expensive, as they are throughout Mallorca, and a round will cost approximately €70. Golf buggies, clubs and golf trolleys are all available to hire and there are full club house facilities in which to relax and unwind after your round. For those who wish to venture further afield, Mallorca is littered with golf courses, the closest being Poniente 1, a five minute drive away. It is a demanding course and is a challenge to players of all handicaps.

Travel
The apartment is approximately 25 minutes drive from Palma Airport on a motorway which makes getting to the apartment quick and easy. EasyJet, BMI Baby, Jet2 and Thomson Airways (from Bournemouth) all offer regular flights from the UK. Car hire is easily available at the airport, or we can recommend a local hire car company if preferred. Taxis are also available from the airport and locally in Santa Ponsa and are inexpensive and reliable.

The apartment is located close to all the amenities you will need. Santa Ponsa is a 3 minute drive away and has several supermarkets, shops, and restaurants. An English doctor is also available in Santa Ponsa as is a dentist. There is an English supermarket and butcher in Portals, a 10 minute drive away and a covered shopping mall about 15min drive away, details of which are all in the Welcome Book. Car hire is recommended. The closest Golf course is about 3 min drive towards Santa Ponsa and the busy resort of Palma Nova/ Magaluf with its abundance of shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment are a short drive in the other direction. Santa Ponsa has its own white sandy beach and marina and a 2 minute drive away is the lovely Puerto Adriano with its marina, adjacent beach and numerous restaurants and cafes. Families with children are made to feel very welcome in most restaurants in the area and most offer a children's menu.

Rates quoted are for up to 4 people and one infant for whom we provide a travel cot and linen. A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the full amount is required to confirm a booking. No booking can be confirmed until a deposit has been received. The final balance will be due 6 weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday. All payments are to be made by direct bank transfer, details will be provided at the time of booking. Payment is not deemed made until funds have cleared into our account.
