Situated in Son Parc and within 5 mins walk of bars and restaurants and 15 mins walk from a beautiful safe beach. This apartment is on the first floor with a rear terrace overlooking the pool and gardens. This terrace has a built-in barbecue and sun awning. To drive to Mahon will take about 25 mins and during the summer season there is a bus service from the nearest hotel (5 mins walk). The port of Fornells, with its many fish restaurants is a short drive away and from Ses Fonts you can walk across a coastal headland to the neighbouring resort of Arenal in 15 mins. The only golf course on the island is situated in Son Parc and is approximately 1 mile away. For the benefit of those who wish to book out of season there is a very efficient wood burning stove in the lounge.

Changeover day
Changeover days are normally Friday or Saturday but may be flexible depending on other bookings.
Departing visitors must vacate the premises by 10:00 hours to allow time for cleaning.
Arrivals should be timed after 12:00 hours please.

Towels and linen for use in the apartment are included and will be changed weekly. Beach and pool towels are not provided. The accommodation will be cleaned on departure. |

Accessibility
The accommodation is on the first floor of a 2 storey apartment. There are some steps and it is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Outside
The rear terrace has a built-in barbecue, retractable sun awning and overlooks the swimming pool and gardens. Outdoor table and chairs are provided. The pool is approximately 15m x 5m with an additional shallow children's pool.
Coast/Beach
The beautiful sandy beach in the bay of Son Parc is about 15 mins walk. It has shallow clear water and is very safe for children. There are beach bars/restaurants nearby. The next bay and beach at Arenal is also within a 15 minute walk.
Golf
An 18-hole golf course and tennis courts are about 1 mile away.
Travel
Mahon airport is about 25 minutes drive.
A hire car is recommended as public transport is not very good and there are many other beautiful areas to visit on the island.
Car hire can be arranged at very competitive prices.
Distances
The centre of Mahon is approximately 25km away.
The towns of Mercadal, Alaior and Fornells are all within a 15km radius. The former capital of the island, Ciudadella, is about 40km away.
Further details
There are numerous bars and restaurants in Son Parc. In addition there are 3 supermarkets, a medical centre, and a cash dispenser. Larger supermarkets are situated in the nearby towns. The old monastery on the top of Monte Torro can be visited and gives spectacular views over the island.
There are facilities for diving in Addaya and Fornells which is also a centre for windsurfing and dinghy sailing. Larger boats can be hired from the port of Mahon.
