Notes on accommodation
The house is fully centrally heated and has air conditioning in all bedrooms. Cots and highchairs are available at no extra cost on request. A DVD player is provided. There is ample private and secure parking on the property. The shops and restaurants of Deia are within 2 minutes walk. The walk to the beach of "Cala Deia" with 2 restaurants/bars is around 20 minutes. The house is ideal for guests who do not wish to use a car during their stay.

Deią is rich in landscapes and places to enjoy nature. There are many roads and paths to follow over the mountains, including the renowned routes of "La Travessa" which cross the Sierra de Tramuntana.

A discrete A-list of the international rich and famous are drawn to Deia, entranced by the rustic looking houses carved into the steep terraces below the church. Michael Douglas the actor has owned a house close by in Valldemossa for many years and Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber recently celebrated his 60th birthday party at one of his houses in the village with Michael Caine, Michael Winner and Ben Elton as some of the celebrity guests.
Dining out is an absolute pleasure in Deia with a huge variety of dining experiences available from the rustic to the sophisticated.
A super tapas bar, La Bodega de Xelini and the restaurant Es Racó des Teix (with a Michelin Star) are only 1 minutes walk away. For special occasions there is yet another Michelin Starred restaurant, El Olivo within La Residencia Hotel.
There are 2 supermarkets in Deia with a wide range of produce. Fresh bread and newspapers are available daily from Es Forn on the main street of Deia, Arxiduc Luis Salvador.
