This apartment has sweeping views from the mountains to the sea from its position on the first floor of a modern Mediterranean villa. It has its own entrance gate, driveway and outside staircase. The villa's large swimming pool (11.5m x 4.5m) is yours to enjoy privately. You also have complete freedom to walk through the villa's two acres of Mediterranean gardens with an abundance of orange, lemon, almond and wild olive trees. The villa is located on the outskirts of Buger, one of the few unspoilt, traditional Mallorcan villages. The village (5 mins walk) is located on a small hill topped by the local church, local amenities include shops, bank, Post Office, bars, bakery, a Saturday morning market and an excellent restaurant. The English owners live on the ground floor with their 2 friendly dogs and are happy to assist you with sightseeing ideas and directions.

Kitchen: 2 ring hotplate, microwave with oven/grill facility, fridge/freezer and toaster. Dining table/chairs. Lockable door onto small rear balcony which has views to forested area at the back of the property and is completely private/secluded from neighbours.
Living Rooms: Large comfortable sofa, which opens out to a double bed, 2-seater sofa, TV and DVD player, log burning fire and air conditioning. Double patio doors lead to a smaller balcony at the rear and further double patio doors lead to the large balcony at front.
Other: The large balcony has panoramic views of the mountains and the Bay of Alcudia and is totally private. It has easy chairs, dining table/chairs and a gas BBQ. There are washing/drying facilities located near the pool.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and bed linen supplied and are changed each week. Apartment cleaned weekly.

 

Notes on accommodation
All rooms have air-connditioning and central heating for the colder months (of which there are few!). The balcony has a small planted flower bed which is only around a metre high forming part of the railings and is, therefore, deemed unsuitable for small children. No smoking or pets.

Accessibility
Not suitable for wheelchair users or the infirm as the apartment is on the first floor and access is by an outside stone stairway.

Coast/Beach
Approximately 15 minutes drive to the beaches of Cala San Vicente, Pollensa, Alcudia & Can Picafort.

Golf
Mallorca has over 20 golf courses with Pollensa and Alcanada being the nearest, only a 10-15 minute drive away.

Special interest holidays
Mallorca is a very beautiful, diverse, cosmopolitan island. The whole island only takes 1.5 hours to drive from north to south and has plenty of lovely places to visit from churches, museums, vineyards and markets to water parks and golf courses. There is walking, riding, cycling, swimming, climbing, caving, diving and all sorts of sailing to be had within 20 minutes of the apartment.

Travel
The villa is approximately 35 minutes by car from the airport mostly motorway. Car hire is recommended. There is a train station at nearby Sa Pobla, 5 minutes by car, that goes to Palma.

Distances
There are various places of interest nearby, 10-20 minutes by car. E.g. caves at Campanet, nature park at Albufera and several beaches.

Further details
The villa is on the edge of the village and is a 5 minute walk to the main square. There are shops, bakery, a post office, bank, bars and a restaurant around the main square. For keen cyclists there is an excellent hire shop 15 minutes away - details available on request. This area is also ideal for walking/hiking as well as beach activities.

Please book by e-mail. 30% non-refundable deposit required at time of booking and the remainder 6 weeks prior to arrival. Any major breakages must be paid for.
