Situated in an exclusive area in the sunny south of Lanzarote, Casa Azulita has a raised position on the corner of a quiet complex overlooking the immaculately kept gardens of Las Coloradas. The villa is just minutes from the Papygayo beaches and is next to 'El Pueblo' where you can find a couple of lovely restaurants, a sports bar and a terrace bar with homemade ice-cream! The villa is furnished to a high standard throughout and is all on one level. There are fantastic mountain views from the terrace and many different seating and sunbathing areas perfect for all weathers - it is private and not overlooked! With over 1/3 of our 2007 bookings as returning clients you can be sure you will have a fantastic holiday here.

Notes on prices
Rates are per week, for up to 4 people.
Includes free cot, highchair and buggy if required, an optional extra to this price is an extra £40 if you would like to have the electric pool heater switched on. The solar heating is great for the summer months but the heater is highly recommended from October through to March/April when there are less hours of sun in the day to heat the panels.
Bookings days are Thursday - Thursday.

Changeover day
Changeover day for this villa is Thursday, with normal arrival time being 3pm and departure time as 10am.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | The master bedroom has large double bed with mattress topper for extra comfort and second guest bedroom has twin beds this room also has LCD tv with DVD and PS 1+ games. Both rooms have plenty of storage and ceiling fans and window shutters. |
| Bathrooms: | Full family bathroom with overhead shower in the bath, granite top with sink, large mirror and smaller make up mirror, bidet, laundry basket and grab rail for ease of access in and out of the bath. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with the essentials like dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer down to the smaller items like the teapot, toaster and cafetierre. |
| Utility Room: | The utlilty room houses the washing machine and is a great place to store your cases. |
| Living Rooms: | The lounge area has 2 comfortable leather sofas and plenty of entertainment with a 32" LCD TV and English Sky, a DVD player, a video player with films, a hi-fi and plenty of books and games. A granite breakfast bar divides the lounge from the kitchen. |
| Other: | Outside there is another lounge complete with a comfy wicker suite and ceiling fan, this is ideal for the slightly cooler months and of course, great for the evenings or simply relaxing and enjoying the lovely garden. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Bedding, linen and towels and pool towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. A midweek towel change is supplied during a one week stay and a clean with laundry change for 2 weeks or more. The pool has regular attendance twice weekly. |
Notes on accommodation
All of the rooms have ceiling fans, and an upright fan and electric radiator can be found in the utility room. Travel cot (including mattress and linen), highchair and 3 wheeler buggy free on request. An iron and ironing board, clothes airer and safe can all be found in the villa, and a hairdryer is provided in each bedroom (one with a diffuser!) and Remington ceramic hair straighteners.

Accessibility
The whole villa and outside area are all on one level and there is access to the villa from the road level either up the steps at the side or along a gradual slope from the private car park...this makes this villa ideal for the elderly and those with walking difficulties.
Outside
Outside there is a large private terrace with a shaded area and patio table and chairs and a built in BBQ, to the side of this is another sunbathing area with adjustable sunbeds with luxury cushions and umbrella. There is further sunken sunbathing area down in front of the pool - a real suntrap! The private pool has a gorgeous blue mosaic tiled finish and measures 6m x 3m, it has Roman style steps for easy access adding another 1.5m to the length. The pool also has both solar and electric heating meaning the option for a really lovely warm pool!..the pools depth is approx 1.4m - 1.5m and is surrounded by slip resistant decking. The pretty tropical garden has many palms and other plants native to Lanzarote.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach to this villa are the Papygayo beaches. These natural beaches have no sunbeds etc and are approx 8 mins walk away. The next beach along the coast is the Dorada beach, here you can find bars and watersports for the more energetic! This will take only a few minutes by car.
Travel
The Arrecife airport is 35 mins from Playa Blanca, and although car hire is not essential it is highly recommended to allow you to explore this wonderful island... I can personally organize this for you with the company I have been using for many years alternatively there are many taxis at the airport and I can organize a return taxi for you.
Distances
The fantastic new marina is approximately 15-20 minute stroll from the villa or a couple of minutes by car, and the main village of Playa Blanca is 5 minutes away by car.
Further details
There is now a great bus service running throughout Playa Blanca..which is great news for those of you who don´t wish to hire a car for your stay!

This holiday has been wonderful, so relaxing to the point that we only ventured out a few times!!!
The welcome, surroundings and home comforts of your villa have all added to us having the perfect break that we needed.
There isn't anything we recommend that you add to this villa other than we wish we'd booked a month's stay and not 2 weeks!!!!
We would like to thank you for your help with one or two queries that we had, i.e. supermarket on the day of our arrival and also in arranging our taxi to the airport.
