It is on the edge of a secure gated community and has a large communal swimming pool area with a wonderful lagoon style pool and a smaller shallow pool for children. There is also a jacuzzi and a paddle tennis court soon to be constructed. Casa Christine is a fully equipped detached property, offering you the perfect facilities for a private, self-contained holiday. A 20ft private heated pool has recently been installed, together with landscaped gardens and grassed areas. Casa Christine is just 5 minutes drive from Corralejo town centre and/or the beautiful beaches. The nearest supermarket is just 2 minutes drive away. We also provide a BBQ area, and huge roof terrace for that all important sun bathing. Truly an idyllic, peaceful environment for a relaxing holiday.

Notes on accommodation
Casa Christine is ideal for couples or families with children. A basic welcome pack will await you on your arrival. There's nothing worse than not being able to make a cuppa and a snack, or crack open a bottle of wine after your journey. luxury food and drink packs can also be arranged -please enquire. The garden area is fully enclosed with lockable electrically operated entrance gate. The roof terrace is accessed via a staircase - we can provide a stair gate for the safety of small children if required. Smoking is not permitted in the villa, only on the outside sun terraces.
We feel that we have created a real 'home from home' with everything you could possibly need for a fabulous holiday on this beautiful island.
Accessibility
Our villa is suitable for disabled guests. There is a small step at the front/rear door and porch entrance, but no threshold plates to enter the main living area. As the garden is split level, there is a Canarian wall and gate to protect youngsters from getting to the swimming pool.
Outside
Our garden has been beautifully landscaped, and features a 6.2m x 3m private heated pool, with grassed areas, the higher level will include a 40m terrace area, table/chairs, BBQ, pergola for that little bit of shade, and various palm trees, bushes and cacti, and, of course, plenty of sun loungers!

Coast/Beach
The breathtakingly beautiful beaches and sand dunes are only a 5 minute drive away. They stretch for miles along the east coast and are a haven not only for all water sport enthusiasts, but also for those of us who prefer to relax in the sunshine with the sea breeze washing over us! There are some lovely smaller beaches which are good for children in the resort of Corralejo itself and if you drive for around 15 minutes towards the west coast you find the lovely lagoon beaches of El Cotillo.
Golf
The 2004 Spanish Open was held at the course at Caleta de Fuste (near the island's airport) and another course has recently opened next door. Two more courses are ready for completion shortly.
Travel
Direct flights available to Puerto del Rosario from most UK airports. The cheapest deals are often with Ryanair who fly from Liverpool and Dublin. Other good prices often found on the internet. The property is approximately 30 mins drive from the airport and approximately 5 mins by car (25 mins walk) into the main resort of Corralejo (about 5 euros in a taxi). The nearest supermarket and restaurants are a 15 min walk away or approx 5 min drive. We recommend that you hire a car.
Distances
The famous sand dune beaches are approx 5 mins drive, though there are some lovely beaches in and around Corralejo which are clean and safe for small children. It is a 5 minute drive or 25 min walk to the centre of town. There are also some lovely places to visit in the Canarian villages. The roads are extremely good and never crowded - driving around the island is a pretty relaxing experience and well worth the effort! We do recommend that you hire a car to get the most from your holiday.
Further details
5 minutes in the car (15 mins walk) will get you to the nearest shops, restaurants, bars and a bank. However, Corralejo has much to offer in terms of Spanish charm and authenticity. There are plenty of restaurants to try out, including traditional Canarian food, Italian, Chinese, Mexican and English. We have provided information and recommendations at the villa. The harbour area is full of great restaurants, bars, and cafes, from which you can sit and watch the world go by. The Baku water park is nearby, again only 5 minutes drive away (20 mins walk), along with other attractions in the same vicinity, such as the twice weekly market and the 10 pin bowling alley.
The new Campanario commercial centre may also be of interest. For those of you who prefer the indoor shopping experience, Las Rotundas shopping centre in Puerto del Rosario may appeal!
Booking notes
£200/E250 deposit required upon booking, with the balance due no later than 4 weeks prior to your arrival date. Preferred method of payment is bank transfer. A refundable security deposit of £150/E190 is also required upon payment of the balance. Prices subject to change at the owners discretion.
