Casas del Sol was one of the first complexes to be built in Playa Blanca giving it a very central location being only a few minutes walk away to the town centre, beaches, harbour etc, everything you need is right on your doorstep and it is not necessary to hire a car. It is a small car free complex set in spacious mature gardens and offers a peaceful and friendly environment as well as excellent facilities including pools, tennis and reception manned by very helpful English speaking staff. The villas have just undergone a complete re-furbishment throughout and have been well equipped with a flat screen satellite TV, DVD player, CD/Radio/Cassette player, and a washing machine. We are one of only a few villas at Casas del Sol to have air conditioning which makes a huge difference during the hot summers. The air conditioning can also be used to heat the villa on the occasional cold nights. All the fittings are to a very high standard and up to four people can be accommodated in comfort.

The entrance to the villa is through wide sliding patio doors into a large lounge/dining area incorporating a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge/freezer, electric oven & hob, microwave, kitchen accessories and ample crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. The dining table and lounge comfortably seats 4 people. There are two bedrooms and the main double bedroom is quite large with plenty of wardrobe space and two single beds which can be put together or apart. The second bedroom is smaller and has bunk beds which are ideal for children. The new bathroom has a walk in shower. Linen and towels are provided and we offer a twice weekly maid service at no extra cost. A washing machine, with ironing facilities are provided. |

Notes on accommodation
What makes our villa stand out from others on Casas del Sol is the air-conditioning which has proved a big hit with our clients as temperatures can get very hot in the summer.
The air-conditioning is also reversible and can be used to heat the villa on the occasional cool night in January.
Accessibility
26C has been used by wheelchair users as, apart from a small step at the entrance gate it is all completely flat. The bathroom however is not suitable for wheelchairs.
17A has 3 steps at the villa entrance and is therefore not suitable for wheelchair users.
Outside
For outside relaxation our villas comprise a tiled sun terrace which is private and secure, with patio table, chairs and reclining chairs or sun loungers. We also have a built in BBQ and a rolling sun blind for those who like the shade. There are garden and sea views towards the neighbouring islands from the terrace. A small variety of tropical plants have been planted.
Coast/Beach
There are 3 beaches only a short stroll away from our villas. These beaches all have lifeguards and plenty of other facilities.
The best beaches of all the Canary Islands are to be found at Papagayo which is a national park 10 minutes drive away.
Golf
There are currently two golf courses on the island which are between 20 and 30 minutes drive away. A golf course in Playa Blanca is planned for 2010.
Travel
The airport is a 25 minute drive away.
Distances
Just a three minute walk will take you to the port and centre of Playa Blanca.
