At approximately 300 years old, Casa Bermudez oozes character, but its thorough restoration in 2006 ensures it has all modern conveniences. The opulent sitting room, with its 4 metre high timbered ceiling and baronial fire place is the only room which doesn't lead off the open air centre courtyard. In the garden there is a large alfresco dining area which looks over the private heated pool and on to the stunning volcanic mountains of Yaiza as well as a clear view, across the Atlantic, to the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura. Casa Bermudez is just a few minutes stroll from the centre of of Tias which has an excellent selection of bars, restaurants and supermarkets. A five minute drive, past the stunning brand new 18 hole golf course, will bring you to the golden sandy beaches and vibrant nightlife of Puerto del Carmen. With its excellent location and overwhelming Canarian charm Casa Bermudez really is the place to experience the best that Lanzarote has to offer.

Accessibility
Whilst Casa Bermudez is a one storey house, there is one step into each bedroom, 3 steps into the sitting room and 5 steps from the pool to the alfresco dining area in the garden. There are no large flights of stairs.
Outside
Private heated pool, well stocked flower beds, alfresco dining area and traditional Canarian oven.
Coast/Beach
By car, you can leave the Casa Bermudez and be on the beach at Puerto del Carmen within 5 minutes. Added to that there is an excellent selection of beaches between Playa Honda and Playa Quemada which are no more than a 10 minute drive away.
Golf
The brand new 18 hole golf course is just 2 or 3 minutes away by car and the other golf course at Costa Teguise is a very pleasant 15 minute drive away.
Skiing
Not the place for skiing, but plenty of opportunities for water-skiing.
Travel
Arrecife Airport is about 10 minutes away by car. Car hire is recommended although Tias has plenty to offer and can be easily reached on foot. Also there are regular buses from Tias to Puerto del Carmen and Arrecife.
Further details
Tias is well stocked with good quality bars, restaurants and supermarkets as well as a doctors surgery, pharmacy, and banks.
Booking notes
A 25% deposit is required with the balance to be settled no more the 6 weeks before the beginning of your stay. Accepted payment methods: cheques, bank transfers, cash in either sterling or euros. A refundable e200 key deposit is required at the beginning of your stay.

The house is stunning, the pictures dont do it justice, the location is superb and we will definately be coming back next year.
