Casas del Sol is in a prime location opposite a small harbour and only a few minutes walk from the town centre, beaches and restaurants. The complex has its own reception, heated communal pool and tennis courts, all surrounded by well maintained, beautiful gardens. The villa occupies a spacious corner plot providing a private sunny terrace and sea glimpses. The villa is homely, clean and well cared for. Patio doors lead into an open plan lounge/dining area incorporating a fully equipped kitchen. It has two large bedrooms and two shower rooms. The enclosed terrace has chairs and tables for outside dining, a sun bed for relaxing in the sunshine and a retractable sun awning for those who prefer shade. There is a selection of books, videos, games and beach equipment for the use of guests. Cots and high chairs may be hired and there is a weekly maid service with a full clean at the end of each week and a mid-week towel change.

Changeover day
Thursdays are the preferred changeover day but we can be flexible. The property will be ready by 16:00 on arrival day and must be vacated by 10:00 on departure day. These times can be flexible if the villa is not booked the same day.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 has a double bed. Bedroom 2 has twin beds and a shower room. Both rooms have double wardrobes, ceiling fans and mosquito nets. |
| Bathrooms: | The main bathroom has recently been refurbished and has a shower, wc and basin. The twin room has an en-suite shower room with basin and wc. The washing machine is located in the main bathroom. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen is open plan off the lounge area. It has a hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer and all the usual crockery and cooking utensils. |
| Living Rooms: | There is a comfortable lounge/dining area with sofa, chairs, dining table, CD player, videos, books, games and video and TV - showing some British channels. It opens out onto the sun terrace. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and linen are provided (please provide you own beach towels). The towels are changed mid-week and the villa given a full clean at the end of each week. |

Outside
The large terrace is surrounded by colourful and attractive plants. There are tables and chairs for outside dining and a sun lounger for relaxing in the sun. A retractable sun awning provides shade. Spare chairs and beach equipment are available to borrow in the cupboards. Shared pool.
Coast/Beach
There are 3 sandy beaches within walking distance of Casas del Sol. Playa Blanca beach is only a five walk away. The furthest Playa Dorada being only a 20 minute walk. Playa Flamingo and Playa Dorada offer a selection of water activities and the gently sloping beach makes them ideal for paddling and swimming. Papagayo Beaches can be reached by car or a combination of taxi and walking. There is a diving centre in the nearby marina and numerous boat trips from the harbour opposite Casas de Sol.
Travel
Arrecife Airport is about a 30 minute drive away. There is a ferry which sails from the harbour to Fuertevetura several times a day. Car hire is not essential for Casas del Sol because it is in the heart of Playa Blanca. Guests generally take a taxi to and from the airport.
Further details
There are several supermarkets in the town and ATM machines. There is a new children's play area and a large choice of shops and restaurants. Playa Blanca is a very peaceful place and very suited to families and couples wanting to relax.
Booking notes
A non-returnable deposit of £100 is required to secure a booking with the balance due 2 months before arrival. Payment is by cheque.
