Set on the 30,000m estate of 'Finca de Arrieta'. The yurt has its own shower room, out door fully fitted kitchen and wood deck patio. All electric on the estate is run form a central source of renewable energy, which consists of 2 wind mills and 30 solar panels. The yurt has access to the pool and chill out area where you can relax and entertain alike. The Eco Yurt has been tastefully styled with original hand picked Mongolian furniture. This Yurt is from Mongolia where they live in this form of 'house' throughout the year, it is fitted with Marble flooring, luxury fabrics and furnishing and is very comfortable.

Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | The Eco yurt is fitted with a large double bed, sofa bed and living area. These yurts are used in Mongolia as full time living accommodation and are draft free, snug and extremely comfortable. |
| Bathrooms: | The toilet and shower room is set just behind the yurt in a stone building. |
| Kitchen: | The exterior kitchen is set just behind the yurt and is fully equipped with gas oven, grill, hob, fridge etc. |
| Living Rooms: | The lounge area is in the main yurt and has been tastefully styled with original hand picked Mongolian hard wood furniture. The yurt is fitted with marble flooring, luxury fabrics and furnishing. Its interior temperature stays at comfortable level. |
| Other: | There are low consuming electric lights and plug sockets. If there are any extras you will require for your stay please let me know and it will be arranged for your arrival. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
All linen and bathroom towels are included, linen is changed weekly. |

Outside
You enter the 30,000 metre estate via electric gate and the yurt is set ahead of you. The yurt has its own terrace, sun loungers, BBQ, and garden dining set with sea views. There is an additional shared pool area which has the chill out area. This fabulous location over looking the beach just a two min walk to the sea in the north of the island. The estate runs on wind and solar power and is a unique example of sustainable living. There are 30 solar panels, batteries and 2 large windmills. This rural location is a perfect setting for a relaxing holiday in the country with the beauty of being next to the beach. There is also an added bonus of farm eggs every morning from our free range hens. This area of Lanzarote is fantastic for walking/mountain biking etc. Or maybe you just want to relax and read a good book next to the pool in peaceful surroundings.
Coast/Beach
Arrieta Beach is 300 Metres walk from the Estate, it boasts one of the best all round beaches on the island which has a tapas beach bar and restaurant, toilets and shower facilities. There are a number of white sand beaches on the way up to Orzola which you can drive to within 10 minutes. The coast in this area is rugged and fantastic for walking and mountain biking.
Golf
There is an 18 hole golf course in Costa Teguise which is a 15 minute drive away.

Looking for an retreat week? If you are looking to have a preorganized holiday why not let us do all the stressful running around and everything will be pre-arranged for your visit. Workshops can be arranged in: painting, meditation, yoga, crystal healing, reiki etc. Sporting activities such as diving, windsurfing, kite surfing, surfing, body boarding, hand gliding, mountain biking, road cycling etc. Pamper days include: spa, massage, nails and hair. Other events including: sailing, pirelli equine touch, golf, music, language, can all be arranged. Your holiday will be tailor made to your individual request.
Travel
Arrecife, Lanzarote is the international airport. You are able to hire cars at the Airport, I will send you detailed directions. If you have any problem en-route then just call! The house is approx 30 mins drive, to the villa.
Distances
Arrieta Village is about a 10 minutes walk from the estate, at the end of the beach. It is a traditional fishing village, and has become well know for its sea front fish restaurants and its quaint Canarian feel. The village also offers a diving school, coffee shops, supermarket, Pizza take away, beach bar, numerous restaurants etc. The restaurants are open everyday from Noon until 9pm and do get booked up for the weekend lunches so it is always best to book a table!
Further details
Attractions within 10 Min's drive include the Cactus Garden, Mirador del Rio, Green Caves, Bird Park and the Valley of a Thousand Palms. In The mountain village of Haria there is a Saturday morning local craft market here you can see various craft men at work. The village of Arrieta boasts one of the best all round beaches on the island which has a tapas beach bar and restaurant, toilets and shower facilities. This is a stunning location to enjoy the unusual black sands and the scenic mountain landscape of rural Lanzarote. The historic village of Teguise, where you can take a stroll through the meandering lanes and watch local artists at work or visit the Sunday Market, is a 15 min drive. The island's capital is 30 minutes drive, where the airport is located. The island's only 18 hole golf course, situated in Costa Teguise, is a 15 min drive away.
