Casa Alexander is situated in a quiet residential cul-de-sac overlooking the world famous and breathtakingly beautiful golden beaches of Corralejo. It is a minute drive to the centre of Corralejo, with all its shops, restaurants and bars. This villa has everything you need for a fabulous holiday including its own private swimming pool and gardens.

| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Clean towels and linen are provided. The property is cleaned once a week and towels and linen are changed at this time. Beach towels are also provided. We have an English representative who will meet you during your stay and can offer advice. |
Notes on accommodation
Casa Alexander is ideal for families, groups of friends and is a good base for windsurfers and surfers. The owners have young children and the villa is equipped with toys, body surf boards, large paddling pool, beach games and DVDs. There is an outdoor storage area for surf equipement and a tap and hosepipe at the front door for washing down sandy kit.

Outside
With its big bay windows and large terraces, this villa is an outstandingly sunny and spacious property. There is lots of outdoor space for lying in the sun and 2 areas for al fresco dining.
Upstairs there is a large private sun terrace with sun loungers which circles the house to allow sunbathing at all times of the day. From here you have views to white sand beaches and Lanzarote. The roof terrace has also got its own dining table and chairs (for 10) for alfresco lunches or supper under the stars. The gardens and roof terrace all have lighting so you can enjoy them at night.
The back garden has a sunny patio and another shaded dining area for alfresco eating. In the front garden is a lovely private pool. The pool is rectangular (4.5m x 3m) with a bench within for cooling off. The pool area is separate from the back garden and therefore safe for young children. There is also secure off-street parking.
Coast/Beach
Corralejo is a winning combination of idyllic unspoilt, white sandy beaches plus the best selection of restaurants and shops on the island. Miles of stunning uncrowded beaches are 1 minute drive away and visible from our balcony. These are considered some of the best beaches in Europe and are comparable to the Caribbean. It is easy to find little coves where you can take a cool box (provided at the villa) and spend the day. Truly a haven for sun worshippers seeking a relaxed family holiday.
Golf
A championship golf course is 30 minutes away by car (the European Open was held here) in Caleta de Fuste, near the airport. It has been fully open since Spring 2002 and was designed by architect Juan Catarimeau. The course is designed very much with the prevailing north, north/westerly wind in mind, making three of the par 3's with a head wind which makes club selection all so important. There are two par 5's and the rest are par 4's. The course is generally on the flat with exception of the 17th & 18th. It boasts an impressive 5 star clubhouse, the Elba Palace Golf Resort Hotel. It has a pro-shop, resident PGA professional, driving range, chipping area, practice bunker and putting green
There are several new golf courses under construction on the island.
Special interest holidays
Fuerteventura is a haven for windsurfers and kitesurfers. It has been a long established destination for mountain biking holiday seekers with miles of dry challenging volcanic terrain.
Numerous surf breaks are close to Casa Alexander. The world famous Flag beach Windsurf & Kite Surf Centre is only 2 minutes away where you can take lessons or hire equipment.
Travel
Fuerteventura airport is approx 30 minutes by car from the villa.
Distances
Whilst the villa is in a peaceful location, we are fortunate enough to have all the amenities you need close by to have a perfect holiday. 10 mins walk from Casa Alexander you will find supermarkets, restaurants, an ice-cream parlour and friendly bars. The centre of Corralejo with its numerous bars, shops and multi-national restaurants is 1 min drive away (or 35 min if walking). The new BAKU Water Park (including bowling, golf and restaurants) is 1 min drive from the villa.
Further details
A brand new Olympic size swimming pool is close to Casa Alexander and available to all guests free of charge from 10am to 1pm Monday to Saturday.
Corralejo is the main resort on the island and the one which has retained it's 'Spanishness', away from package holidays and big hotels.
A newly built water park makes a wonderful day of fun for children. There is also a golf driving range, ten pin bowling, crazy golf and play area.
The harbour area is a hive of activity and you can take a ferry for a day trip to Lanzarote or visit the unspoilt island of Lobos for a picnic in a glass bottom boat. Along the sea front there are many bays with restaurants, cafes and bars overlooking the sea, a great place to relax and enjoy a drink.
Other daytime activities include surf and windsurf schools, scuba diving, snorkeking trips and big game fishing. There is also walking, cycling (mountain bikes for hire), tennis and horseriding nearby. There are two great local diving schools.
