The villa was designed by a local architect as a private residence and is in a quiet street which is totally flat and is suitable for children, the disabled, and the elderly. The accommodation is all on one floor apart from the sunroof, accessed by a traditional enclosed atrium. The house is enclosed within high walls, and surrounded by patios, and the pool (heated from November to April) and barbecue area. Internally, there is a spacious lounge and separate kitchen/diner. The Master bedroom, which has direct to the pool area, has an ensuite shower and separate dressing-room. There are a further two (twin) rooms and another bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a separate utility/washroom accessed via the patio. There is a sound system with speakers in all rooms, a digital TV system and DVD and VCR. The pool area access is controlled by you as is access to roof terrace via lockable gates, so totally secure for children. Storage areas for wheelchairs and cycles.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Bookings can be secured with a deposit of 20% (subject to a minimum of £100 per week) the balance being due 8 weeks before arrival. I can now offer Christmas and New Year at a very attractive discount! (up to 25% off!)Also, I am offering good discounts for longer stays in January.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Thursday as the islands services are geared to that day and the majotity of UK flights are on that day. Departure time is 10 am and arrival must be after 2 pm. Exceptionally, luggage storage can be organised outside these times.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 is double-bedded, with en-suite and dressing room.
Bedrooms 2 & 3 are twin bedded with built-in wardrobes. Bedrooms are all on one level so suitable for less mobile, elderly and children.
Bathrooms: En-suite to bedroom 1, with shower, wc, bidet and handbasin. Next door is a large walk in wardrobe, with space for a cot (provided free).
Family bathroom with full-sized bath, wall-mounted shower, wc, bidet, and handbasin.
Kitchen: The kitchen has cooker, four-ring hob, dish-washer, fridge-freezer, microwave and all small appliances. There is a table and seating for 6 in this generously sized room.
Utility Room: The washing machine is in a separate utility room, with drying facilities. This is away from the main rooms both within the high surrounding wall (good for security).
Living Rooms: The lounge has seating for 6, DVD, VCR, satellite TV and HiFi. This room faces North providing much needed shade at the hottest time of the day.
Other: The traditional Canarian patio, in the centre of the house provides almost an extra room, and is perfect for outdoor eating. This is the only part of the house where smoking is allowed.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
A full maid service is provided on Thursdays (for arrival and midway for two week stays). Linen and towels, but not beach towels, are included. Provision of a cot and high-chair is free.

Accessibility
The villa is all on one level (and is in a flat and level area) making it specially suitable for those with a mobility problem, the elderly and children.

Outside
The pool is 3m x 5m and acclimatised in winter and is exclusive, private and secluded. There is a built in barbecue, and extensive patio areas. There is extensive garden furniture, the area is walled and private and there is a roof terrace, ideal for sunbathing but with a lockable gate for child security. The pool is cleaned and serviced on Thursdays and Mondays.

Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is roughly 5 minutes walk, and several other fine beaches within 15 minutes walk.

Golf
The island's most established golf course is about 1 kilometre away (10 minutes walk). The other, newer golf course is a 20 minute drive

Travel
Arrecife airport is 20 minutes drive, and the ferry port for access to Fuerteventura (20 minutes crossing) within an hour. The little harbour at Orzola provides a 20 minute crossing to the island of La Graciosa. Car hire is not essential but advisable to see the many ares of interest.

Distances
As the resort is quite centrally located, nowhere is more than 30km.

Further details
There are numerous children's activities, water sports and other activities available. Bike hire, camel rides and horse-riding centres are nearby and there is a water park within 1km. There are several wildlife centres.

Bookings can be made by telephone or by Email, a deposit of 20% will be required on booking, and the remainder 8 weeks before departure. Airport transfers are not provided but can be arranged.
