Treetop has a superb view to the sea and right over the old almond tree that gives the apartment its name. This colonial-styled property is spacious and charming with a large living room opening onto the wrap-around verandah - the perfect place to relax in the Berbice chair or hammock. The dining area is also located on the veranda and adjacent to a well-equipped kitchen. There are two double bedrooms, one of which has an additional single bed, and a third single bedroom as well as two bathrooms with showers. There is plenty of cupboard space. The house is surrounded by a lush garden with bougainvillea and other tropical flowers. There is parking space for a hired car if you wish, however the bus route is right outside and less than US $1.00 flat rate to either end of the route or Bridgetown. Within walking distance are restaurants and the gracious and historic Garrison Savannah where you can see horse racing most Saturdays or visit the Barbados Museum or George Washington House.

| Kitchen: | Good sized and fully equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, toaster oven, coffee maker, and china, glasses and silverware for up to 10. Cooled by ceiling fan. |
| Living Rooms: | Large, comfortable living room with seating for up to 10, and coffee tables, table lamps. Cooled by a ceiling fan and a standing fan. |
| Other: | The wrap-around veranda is much beloved, shady and very relaxing. It is equipped with a 6 seater dining table and chairs for alfresco dining and garden/sea views. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
All linen and towels, (including beach towels), are supplied and changed twice a week. Maid service is twice a week and personal laundry is by arrangement. |
Notes on accommodation
Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We welcome families with children four years and up. Since there are steps down to the beach we cannot recommend for guests with serious walking difficulties.

Accessibility
Not suitable for wheelchair confined. There are approximately 18 stairs to negotiate from ground level and beach.
Outside
The shady wrap-around veranda is very popular with our guests. On the beach there is outdoor furniture which includes a round table with umbrella, 2 chaise lounges and beach chairs. There is a barbecue available. The sea is a perfect temperature at all times.
Coast/Beach
20 paces away and no roads to cross! White, powder sand coral beach with calm crystal waters.
Golf
Rockley Golf Course with 9 holes is 5 minutes drive away. Barbados Golf Club with 18 holes is 20 minutes drive. On the west coast is the famous Sandy Lane course with 18 holes plus the old 9. Also Royal Westmoreland with a very beautiful 18 hole course. These latter are 30 minutes drive away.
Skiing
Water skiing nearby, but no snow here!

Travel
Grantley Adams International airport is 25 minutes drive away and approximately US$23.00 for the taxi. It is not necessary to rent a car, since we are on a good bus route. However, we do recommend exploring by hired car or taxi to find the hidden treasures off route.
Distances
1 Km from Bridgetown, the capital. 2 Km from the St. Lawrence Gap area which is full of nightlife, restaurants and bars. Supermarket, Post Office, banks and shops are 1 Km away. Oistins fishing village is 6 Km.
Further details
Many watersports are available nearby. There are several bistros and restaurants and a bank within 5 minutes walk. We will be very pleased to help guests with other arrangements such as sailing, submarine, helicopter, dinner shows or tours by jeep or bus.
