Malo Blue is a spacious, contemporary villa with views over the Adriatic to the island of Brac. Surrounded by a large private garden, and situated on a private leafy path the villa is just 30 metres from the secluded Tice beach in Stanici and a further 5 minute walk from the main Stanici beach (there are no roads to cross to reach the beaches). All bedrooms, living and kitchen areas have sea views. Stanici is located approximatly 40km south of Split and 180km north of Dubrovnik. There are beautiful towns and beaches to explore a short drive down the coast as well as the Island of Brac. Malo Blue has been completely refurbished to a high standard and offers stylish open plan living, with areas where guests can find privacy.

Changeover day
In high season Saturday is changeover day. However there is flexiblity outside of July and August, or in case of short notice availability in July and August. Arrival is from 4pm and departure at 10am.

| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Bed linen, bath towels (3 per person) and beach towels are provided. The property is cleaned once a week and linen and all towels are changed. Washing powder is available for guests. Washing up liquid, tea towels and dishcloths also provided. |
Notes on accommodation
On the ground floor are two bedrooms (double and twin), kitchen, dining, living area, a bathroom and dining terrace.
On the first floor is a further bedroom (twin) with a small sea-facing terrace, bathroom, large landing with gallery which looks down onto the kitchen / dining area and a small outside terrace.
There are electric heaters in both bathrooms, plug-in heaters in all the bedrooms and a large open fireplace dividing the living area from the kitchen/dining area. The chimney breast runs up through the centre of the house.

Accessibility
Access to the beach is via a steep flight of steps which would be unsuitable for people with limited mobility.

Coast/Beach
From the Villa it is 30m (3 minutes walk down steep steps) to the quiet Tice beach. A further 5 minutes walk along the beach brings you to the main Stainici beach with a couple of beach bars, boat hire etc. Neither beach has road access making them generally 'quiet' family beaches.
There are other beautiful beaches and towns a short drive down the coast such as Brela, Markaska, Baska Voda, Trogir.
Ferries from Omis and Split travel to Brac.
Travel
Split is the nearest airport, a 40min to 1 hour trip dependent upon traffic. A new motorway is currently under construction which will shorten this considerably. Completion is anticipated early summer 07.
There is a ferry service from Ancona to Split.
Car hire is recommended, although there is a bus service 100m from the house which travels up and down the coast.

Omis is approx 5km from the house a 5 minute drive.
Split is approx 40km (30-45mins depending upon traffic)
Dubrovnik approx 180km.
Further details
There are shops selling fresh bread and essentials and a few restaurants in Stanici itself. In addition there is a small tourist office where you can book excursions or activities. The main Stanici beach has a couple of beach bars/restaurants.
In Omis there are a few supermarkets, butchers and a daily local market selling fresh fish, local cheese, fruit and vegetables. Also restaurants, cafes, ice cream stalls and banks.
From Omis you can take a boat up the Cetina river or go white water rafting. Increasingly there is mountain biking and walking on offer.
Stanici is a good base for guests wishing to visit other areas of Croatia or Bosnia. Many guests have made trips not only to costal towns/villages such as Brela (an award winning beach), Markaska, Baska Voda, Trogir but also Krka national park and Plitvicka Jezera National Park to mention just two.
