Bakeries, supermarkets, banks, pharmacy, tennis courts, car/bike/boat hire, bus and taxi service are again all within a few mins walk. Novigrad is easily accessed with regular flights to Pula, Rijeka, Trieste or Venice operated by Ryanair and Easyjet.

The apartment is located on the top floor of a three story building, boasting uninterrupted views overlooking the old town, the marina and the coast. The double height ceilings are a feature and enhance the overall ambiance of the apartment.

Swimming and water sports 250m. All blue flag waters. Bathing areas have been very well designed and are suitable for all ages. The core of the old town lies on a limestone peninsula that was once an island. Medieval walls topped with restored crenellated towers run along the port and the historic core is replete with 15th to 18th-century houses. The promenade, winding around the old town of Novigrad, offers magnificent views of the sea and surrounding countryside.
Travel
The nearest airport is Pula 50 miles south of Novigrad. A newly constructed road links Pula to Novigrad. Trieste (Italy)airport can easily be reached in 75 mins from Novigrad. Ryanair fly from Stansted to these airports. Rijeka airport is serviced by Easyjet from Luton. Travel time from Rijeka to Novigrad is approx. 75 mins. Can advise on competitive priced car hire.Terravision operate a bus service from Pula.
Distances
Porec (15km), Rovinj (30km), Trieste (45km). Daily boat excursions operate to Venice (2.15 hrs from Porec). Slovenia (20km). The bus station is less than 2 minutes from the apartment. Buses to and from the many towns and cities in Croatia, Italy and Slovenia can be accessed here. Both taxis and cars may be rented locally.
Further details
The area characterized by its indented, low and accessible coast with rocky and pebbly beaches. The crystal clear water reveal a a myriad of sea creatures to those who snorkle or scuba dive. The town is famous for top-quality olive oil and great restaurants (especially famous for quality fish and truffle dishes).
The nearby towns of Porec, Vrsar and Rovinj have plenty to offer in terms of interest and beauty. Oprtalj, Groznjan and Motovun, all within half an hour driving time of Novigrad, are also beautiful towns and well worth a visit.
