It is tucked away amongst the narrow paths and back streets of old Fowey and is yet only 1 min to the harbour, shops, pubs and restaurants.

Accessibility
Angel's Nest is tucked away on a quiet lane behind the high street of Fowey's historic centre and is only 1 min to the harbour, shops, pubs and restaurants. Garden access via steep steps.
Outside
When the sun is shining a large newly landscaped south facing garden with 2 seating areas will be the perfect setting for your BBQs. This is accessed via steps from the kitchen. From here you have a beautiful view over the church and the Castle Place House. There is as sunny lawn that leads you to a large patio at the end of the garden with a teak dining table with 6 chairs on the patio and a stone bench at the other end of the garden. Steps lead to another large pathed patio, if you prefer shade.
Coast/Beach
Walking - close to the Saints Way and the South West Coastal Path.
Sailing - RYA tuition available in Fowey.
Surfing - the north coast of Cornwall is approx 30 minutes drive away
Within a few minutes walk are the beaches of Whitehouse Readymoney Beach in Fowey is a 10 mins walk.
Polkerris beach is a 15 mins drive.
Many more beaches on the north and south coast of Cornwall are within easy driving distance.
Other beaches at Coombe Hawne and Great Lantic Bay.
Golf
Carlyon Bay, Lanhydrock and Lostwithiel golf clubs are all within 15 minutes drive. There are over 30 courses with in 1 hours drive.

Huge variety of outdoors activities on your door steps such as sailing, windsurfing, boat hire, horse riding, hiking, walking, golfing etc. Carlyon Bay, Lanhydrock and Lostwithiel golf clubs are all within 15 minutes drive. There are over 30 courses with in 1 hours drive.
Within a few minutes walk are the beaches of Whitehouse and Readymoney and further afield Coombe and Lantic Bay can be accessed from the south west coastal path, or by boat. Beautiful costal paths for walking and hiking holidays.
Fowey plays host to the Daphne du Maurier festival every May. It also holds Fowey Royal Regatta every August with its Carnival, Red Arrows, live bands, Gig racing and Grand firework displays. Fowey has 2 Yacht Clubs.
Eden Project, Lanhydrock and Lost Gardens of Heligan within 20 mins.
Travel
Fowey is approximately 155 miles from Bristol and can usually be reached from there in two and a half hours.
Exeter is the nearest airport, approx an hour's drive from the house. Ferries come in to Plymouth, and nearest train station is Par, just 10 minutes drive.
St Austell and Bodmin are towns within 15 min driving distance.
Distances
The nearest large town is St Austell approximately 7 miles away and Plymouth lies 33 miles to the East. The Cathedral City of Truro lies approximately 20 miles to the West.

Further details
Eden project is at nearby Luxulyan (15 mins drive). Falmouth with its highly acclaimed Maritime musem and Truro both around an hour away. Padstow (home to Rick Stein's famous seafood restaurant) is only half an hour away. Plymouth with theatre, cinemas, aquarium etc one hour away. Numerous other local attractions abound.
Fowey is a charming and unspoilt harbour town situated between Plymouth and Falmouth. It has numerous quality restaurants and an array of boutiques and shops. Beaches, boat hire, sailing and river and sea trips including fishing abound. It is a working harbour so don't be surprised to see large tankers, cruise ships and navy boats in the harbour. Fowey's sailing regatta frequented by the Red Arrows and fireworks is always a high point and runs 3rd week of August. Festivities and fireworks at Xmas and New Year! It is a fabulous place to visit.
