This beautiful, large, double fronted, Grade 11 listed Georgian house is located in the heart of the working village and fishing harbour of Mevagissey with harbour front, shops, restaurants, pubs, internet cafes, all within 100 yards. The house sleeps 7/9 and consists of 3 large double bedrooms plus double sofa bed and travel cot on request. One with a king size bed, en-suite shower and sea views, one with a double bed, en-suite shower and sea views. The third has three single beds with family bathroom ie bathwith with shower, basin and wc. also a seperate toilet and laundry room on this floor. Tariff for 2009 are the same as 2008.

Changeover day
Saturday. This is flexable at Christmas and New Year depending on what day of the week they fall.

| Kitchen: | Large fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, built in Bosch oven, microwave, hob, large fridge and small freezer. |
| Utility Room: | Washing machine Iron and ironing board. A launderette is just a few minute walk from away. |
| Living Rooms: | Window seat, beamed ceiling brown leather furniture, radiator, archway to snug with double sprung sofa bed. French doors opening to conservatory and backdoor. |
| Other: | Conservatory with slate floor. Very large dining table, access to snug, kitchen and back door. This door opens onto and is at the end of a privately shared footpath and is perfect access for unloading into. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and linen for the house are included. Please bring own Beach towels. Change over is on Saturdays departure by 10am when cleaners come in, arrivals not befor 3pm. |
Notes on accommodation
The house is very light and airie, there are few pavements in mevegissy as streets are narrow, The front door has a small step up into the house, there is no step at back door. The house is over 3 floors, children do not have a problem with the stairs, there is a stair gate if needed. Car parks within 500 yards of house, the house is surrounded by good restaurants and pub restaurants children welcome everywhere, should you wish to bring your lap top free wifi in sharks fin bar reastaurant tea and coffee served here also. This is also on the harbour just a few minutes walk from house
Coast/Beach
Mevagissey is surrounded by beautiful beaches along walkable coastel paths and if you do not want to walk Mevagissey has its own small beach, or drive to hundreds of beaches all around the Cornish coast.
Golf
There are many beautiful golf courses running along cliff tops with amazing sea views.
Travel
St. Austell Station is approx 20 minute drive to Mevagissey
Newquay Airport is approx 40 minute drive to Mevagissey
Plymouth approx 55 minutes drive from Mevagisse and
Exeter 1 hour 30 minutes.
Distances
Mevagissey village has an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants all within a hundred yards of the house, while a short drive up the road are the Lost Gardens Of Heligan, The very beautiful Caerhays castle set in amazing gardens protected from the sea by a wonderful sandy beach, or in the opposite direction spend some time in the Tall Ships Harbour in Charlestown (7miles) away with its fish smokery and shipwreck museum, or among the tropical blooms of the Eden Project (11 miles).
Further details
The perfect Cornish fishing village 15 minutes drive from St Austell with is winding cobbled streets and a harbour full of fishing boats. There are stunning coast walks from the harbour in both directions, with sandy beaches, high cliffs and many hidden coves to explore.
If walking is not your thing take the Meva Ferry boat over to Fowey boasting approximately 50 mins of coastal views of beaches coves and caves and often accompanied by Dolphins, Basking sharks.
The stunning coastline, fabulous beaches and renowned gardens of the beautiful Roseland Peninsula are a short drive down the coast while Truro with its shop, restaurants, theatre and cathedral can be reached by car in half an hour. Fishing is also available from outer harbour wall and fishing trips are available from the harbour. Water sports and teaching school ie wind surfing, kayaking, scuba diving, many wrecks to be explored approx 3 miles.
