The villa is self contained, spacious and well equipped. The large inside lower floor is set out as a comprehensive games room, including a full size pool table, full size table tennis, full size air hockey table, football table and darts etc. The patio has a BBQ and garden furniture. There are some lovely restaurants locally and in nearby towns. The town of Mortain has an outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and well known water cascades. There are also many great places to visit in the surrounding area such as the medieval town of Dumfront, the D-day landing beaches and the Bayeux Tapestry with lots of interesting activities including golf, fishing, climbing, go-karting, canoeing and horse riding etc.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Book before 31 March 2009 and receive 10% early booking discount. Book 2 week holiday and receive a further 10% discount.
Changeover day
The normal changeover day is Saturday, however, this is flexible depending on availability. Check in time is normally after 4pm and check out 10am, however this is again flexible depending on the time of year.

Linen and towels changed each let available at charge of €10 per person. Property to be left in same condition as found or there is a full cleaning service available at total cost of €85. Local English caretaker lives nearby and available in case of need. |
Notes on accommodation
Heating is electric fires that can be adjusted manually and heating is included in cost of hire. The garden is fully enclosed.
Accessibility
We do have a ground floor 2nd lounge/double sofa bed and bathroom with shower and separate toilet on the ground floor.

Lovely walled garden, patio and patio furniture/barbeque available.
Coast/Beach
There are some lovely sandy beaches such as Jullouville approx 30 mins drive away.
Golf
There are at least 3 golf courses within a 20 mile radius of Mortain.
Travel
From ferry ports (approx times): Caen 1 hour. Cherbourg 1 hour. Le Harve 1½ hour. St. Malo 1½ hour. Calais 4½ hours. From Dinar airport 2 hours.
Distances
The villa is located in Le Neufbourg on the outskirts of Mortain which is a couple of mins drive or 10 min walk.We are also near to Dumfront (approx 24km), Villedieu-les-poeles (approx 35km), St. Hillaire-du-Harcouet (approx 14km), Vire (approx. 24km) and many other lovely local areas. The seaside resort of Granville is about 45 mins drive and Mont St.Michel is about 45km.
Further details
Many local supermarkets, restaurants and banks nearby. The property is located at the edge of Mortain with all facilities and the large forest of Mortain with its cliffs and water cascades, good for climbing and canoeing.
Booking notes
We ask for a 20% deposit at time of booking and the full balance 8 weeks before arrival at the property. A fully refundable security deposit is requested on arrival at the property of 170 euros or £120 which will be returned providing the property is left in the same condition in which it was found.
