L'Ecurie is a detached 2 bedroom gite that sleeps 2/5. Situated in its own grounds and surrounded by fields and woodland. There is also a large shared garden with a swimming pool, a baby paddling pool and 14ft trampoline. Also available is ping-pong, table football, PlayStation with a selection of games and many DVDs to borrow, BBQ nights, quiz nights etc. All towels and bedding are provided. Free range eggs available daily. English owners always on hand to help in any way or give information on the area and facilities. We are very easy to find, just 5km from the A62 junction 4 exit. The area is very beautiful and tranquil, fantastic for bike riding and walking, it is also a birdwatchers paradise; many herons, kingfishers and birds of prey. There is a fishing lake very nearby, a pony club next door who will cater for any of your needs.

Notes on accommodation
We feel that we are very child friendly as we have children ourselves and have been through the treadmill of finding somewhere that they will be happy and not bored.
Highchairs and cots are available on request.
Outside
The Gite there is an enclosed private south facing garden which has the sun on it from sun rise until it sets in the evening. But if shade is needed you have your own pagoda shaded patio table and chairs.
In the large shared garden there is a swimming pool 10m x 5.5m,also in the shared garden is a 14ft trampoline with a safety enclosure, ping pong and table football. We also have a huge pond with carp if you like to fish or just feed them with some bread as they are not shy.
Coast/Beach
we are about 90 mins away from the coast, but if that's too far there is a leisure park about 8km away that has a man made lake and beach, its small but very lovely, we go there all the time.
Golf
Golf course 20 minutes away at Casteljaloux.
Travel
Bordeaux is the nearest airport, about 45 mins away, also there is Bergerac which is about 70 mins away.
TGV at Bordeaux 40 mins away.
Use of a car is essential.
Distances
We are 2km from our local village, Aillas, where there is a tabac/small shop and a post office. We are 10km from La Reole which has all your needs including a bank, pharmacy, tabac, a large supermarket, 2 restaurants, one very French and one Italian, both fantastic food at fantastic prices. 5 minutes from nearest motorway (A 62 E 72 JNCT 4).
Further details
Casteljaloux is 20 mins away and has a huge man made lake and beach area, there are peddle boats and a water slide, a really fab day out. Bordeaux is only 40 mins away, you will certainly need 2-3 days to get around this beautiful city.
