Notes on accommodation
This is a newly renovated ecologically constructed house with very high levels of insulation in walls floors and ceilings to keep the rooms cool in summer and warm in the cooler months. All the rooms have independently controlled under floor heating. All access to the apartment is on ground level and is easy access for the less agile. Cots are available for young children and toys if required. There are no steps to negotiate. The second bathroom shower is at floor level with no steps to negotiate.
The house has been constructed and to ecological standards and has kept its traditional features with terracotta tiles, oak hand adzed beams and all windows are double glazed with traditional internal shutters and external fly screens to both windows and doors. The hot water and heating is supplemented by solar panels. There is a wood burning stove in the lounge. We have furnished the apartment to give those fortunate to experience staying at the villa a feeling of being at home.

Accessibility
All rooms are on the ground floor and access is on the flat from the terrace. It has one bathroom with a floor level walk in shower and there are no steps in the apartment.
Outside
We have large 2 acre gardens with mature olive,mulberry walnut fig apple and pine trees to name just a few. We have several terraces, a covered loggia and gazebo attached to the house with sun loungers chairs and tables. We have a small amphitheatre and beautiful views in all directions from the garden. There is a barbecue available for our guests in the Summer months. Our main terraces are step free. For 2009 summer season we will have a 30ft by 15ft shared, as we live here, pure water chemical free swimming pool which is solar heated and also a fully equipped art studio. The views are beautiful across a wooded valley to the north vineyards, to the east and west and hill towns and mountains to the south.

15 minutes drive to a 9 hole soon to be 18 hole golf course.
Special interest holidays
We will have in 2009 a fully equipped art studio with tuition available if required from a University trained English art teacher.

Ancona and Pescara airports 1 hour 15 mins away. Rome airports 2.5 hours away.

Montelparo our village is 2kms away a beautiful fortified hilltown with a fascinating museum of traders bicycles from the last century. Ascoli Piceno 'Florence of Le Marche'. Stunning architectural heritage city with wonderful shops, piazzas, cathedral, churches, art gallery, theatre museums and the gorgeous Melletti's art nouveaux bar from which to watch the world go by. 30 Mins drive away. Fermo with piazzas shops gallery theatre, 30 mins. Maccerata with world famous opera season 30 mins.
Further details
Le Marche is the Italian centre for shoe and leather manufacturing and there are world famous brand outlet stores for bargains everything from Tods to Gucchi! Le Marche is famous for the quality of it food and is the market garden of Italy so the restuarants are numerous excellent and very reasonably priced. We are 3km. from banks, post office, restaurants, butcher, hair dresser, food shops, baker, tennis courts (outdoor and indoor), horse riding. We are 35 mins from walks in the Sibillini Mountains and there are numerous ancient hill towns to explore and very family safe award winning blue flag beaches 25 mins away with superb ice cream bars.
