The lakeside is at 500 m., restaurants, supermarket and shops at 400m.

Outside
With garden in front of the house facing south, furnished with table and deckchairs. At the back another garden with a barbecue, overlooking the small mountain stream, Liro.
Coast/Beach
Residence Liro is 500 metres from the beach. Nearest ferry port 2km.
The excursion by ferry boat, crisscrossing the lake gives you a beautiful view on the private villas and parks. You can also criss-cross the lake by boat with regular services. In Gravedona there are plenty recreational activities and water sports.
Golf
For golfers at least 3 golf courses are nearby including the oldest course in Italy: Menaggio.
Lanzo golf course (30 km) has 9 holes in Val D'Intelvi up in the hills at 600m altitude. There is also a course in Lugano 40km and in Como 46km.
Skiing
Famous winter sport resorts such as St. Moritz, Madesimo and Bormio are at 90 mins car-distance. In 2 hours visitors can reach the Gotthard mountain region, Splugen or San Bernardino. Locals tend to go on a day-outing for skiing and hiking, for lovely walks in the snow and sledding, in the valleys behind Gravedona.
Special interest holidays
Gravedona was historically an important village, the palace Gallium, the baptismal church of S.Maria del Tiglio are testimony to its history. The area has a temperate climate in summer and pleasant temperatures in winter favoured by the warm 'tramontana' wind descending from the Alps. Being south of the Alps especially in winter there are many days of cloudless weather, whereas in summer thunderstorms, which last a few hours, refresh the air.

Nearest railway station 15km. Nearest motorway junction 50km.
The apartments are just 100km far from Milano Malpensa / Linate airport, budget flights, arrive at Milano or Bergamo airport. All these airports have the main car hire companies, and bus connections to lake Como.

Restaurants, supermarket and shops at 400 meters.

Apartment generally rents for full weeks, but will consider less days. Payments: 50% of the rent at the time of booking and the balance due within one month of arrival. There is a refundable breakage deposit of euro 200, to be paid upon arrival in cash euro.
