Santa Maria Rezzonico is a peaceful village on the banks of Lake Como. Our chalet is an ideal base from which to explore other similarly beautiful villages around the lake. The recently renovated, stylish and well equipped accommodation provides everything needed for a wonderful holiday in a typical Italian village. With stunning views in every direction it might even be difficult to tear yourselves away! Menaggio is just a 10 minute drive away with an impressive selection of shops bars and restaurants.

Changeover day
Departures by 11am. Arrivals after 3pm. We can be flexible under certain circumstances. Please ask if this is required.

| Kitchen: | The open plan kitchen/dining room is very well equipped and seats 6 comfortably. There is an oven, hob, microwave fridge/freezer, toasters in fact everything you need to either heat up a pizza or create a full gourmet dinner.Windows overlooking the lake. |
| Utility Room: | The boiler room on the ground floor houses the washing machine. |
| Living Rooms: | The comfortable lounge area has a settee, 2 armchairs, a coffee table and a telescope! There is a wood burning stove for winter visits. There is a CD player and TV. The views from the lounge over the lake and mountains are magnificent. |
| Other: | The ground floor studio apartment is accessed separately and comprises a sitting room with double bed and en-suite bathroom. There is also a balcony which opens to the fabulous views of lake and mountains. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and bed linen are included and are provided weekly. The property is cleaned on changeover with no additional charge. There is also an iron and ironing board. |

Outside
The property has gardens and a large terrace with stunning lake views and outdoor furniture and umbrella. There is a parking area opposite the garage for 2 cars. The views from the terrace are stunning.
Coast/Beach
There are many lakeside beaches around Lake Como. The nearest being about a 1 mile drive away. There is also a Lido and beach in Menaggio just 10 min drive away.
Golf
The Menaggio and Cadennabia golf club is within 20 mins drive and offers an 18 hole 5.552m par 70 course which is open from March to November.
Skiing
Local skiing is available in Madesimo about a 1 hour drive.
St Moritz is around 2 hours drive.
Travel
Aeroporto Malpensa 108km. Aeroporto Bergamo 118km. Car considered essential.
Distances
Lake Lugano and Lugano town 30km. Como town 32km. St Moritz 100km. Ferries are plentiful to the other villages across the lake and they also have many restaurants, bars and shops, gardens and villas are also within half an hours travel.
Further details
The nearest shopping centre is in Menaggio where there are banking facilities, and tourist office. Ferries leave from Menaggio to Varenna and Bellagio (The jewel in the Lake). There are also boat services to other parts of the lake. Menaggio offers a varied selection of restaurants catering for every taste and several very pleasant lakeside bars where you can enjoy the fabulous views and watch the world go by. There is also a supermarket, greengrocers delicatessen and wine shop. In the side streets you can find an interesting selection of other food stores, fashion and antique shops. During the high season the main square hosts outdoor entertainment including live music, antique markets and craft markets.
Booking notes
20% deposit secures the dates with the balance due 2/3 weeks prior to the departure date. Keys and directions are sent on receipt of the balance. There is also a security deposit required (refundable) of £150.
