Casa Boa Vista (House with a View) is situated close to Moncarapacho, Quelfes, Estoi and Olhao, 20-25 mins from Faro airport. This lovely villa built 2004 has 4 luxury bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and comfortably sleeps 8-10. Air con to all bedrooms. It has a wonderful south facing 10m x 5m heated swimming pool with night lights. Enjoys outstanding views and tranquillity. The pool terrace is fully equipped with tables/chairs and loungers for 8-10. There is a BBQ with other seating and boules area in the lower garden. Fantastic games room in basement: extra seating, table tennis, darts, full sized table football and slate pool table. Something for everyone! Gated with lots of parking off road. Local managers will welcome you and ensure you enjoy every aspect of your holiday. We are part of a small consortium of owners with identical villas. Notes on prices
Prices are per week in UK Pounds for up to 10 using portable bed and cot.
Pool heated free of charge from 21 March 2009 - end October 2009. Oblig extra £85/wk for air conditioning (warm and cool).
Price includes: cot, portable bed, all linen except for cot linen, towels, pool/beach towels, villa cleaning and services of a local manager.
Fully automated booking system, takes any currency, any credit/debit card. 25% deposit required. Balance + £200 breakage deposit 8 wks before holiday.
Changeover day
We are very flexible with start/end dates. However prefer Sat to Sat July/August. Minimum stay is 7 nights. But contact us to negotiate!
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | There are 4 bedrooms, 2 huge (!)doubles with ensuites, 2 large twin rms with 2 further bathrooms. Each has extensive fitted cupboards. there are 2 digital safes in the villa. The 1st floor master bedroom has its own terrace, seating and panoramic views. |
| Bathrooms: | There are 3 full bathrooms and 1 shower room/toilet with handbasin. 3 of the bathrooms have bidets, the master bathroom is complete with corner bath and twin basins. 2 bathrooms are en suite. All are fully tiled. Absolute luxury! |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen is superbly equipped for 10 people with granite worksurfaces, electric hob, oven, fridge, freezer, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher and lots of crockery/cutlery. Everything you could possibly wish for! |
| Utility Room: | The utility room has a brand new washing machine and extra drinks fridge and is an area to store other equipment i.e. ironing board, iron, brooms etc. |
| Living Rooms: | The large stylish modern lounge/dining room comfortably seats 10 with satellite TV (ITV/BBC), DVD, music system, books and games. Two large doors lead to pool terrace with tables, chairs, recliners, etc. BBQ, seating and boules in lower garden. |
| Other: | The first floor master bedroom has an en suite bathroom with corner bath, double basins, bidet etc, its own terrace with seating and tables where one can enjoy outstanding sunsets over a glass of wine! You will fight over this room!! |

All towels/linen provided. Price includes villa cleaning. We also provide beach/pool towels so no need to bring your own! 1 portable bed, cot, high chair, child buggy, family games, DVDs, CDs all provided. |
Notes on accommodation
The villa has air conditioning in all 4 bedrooms. The pool will be heated mid March to end October free of charge - which is a significant saving to you. We do however charge £85/wk for air conditioning (warm and cool) to ensure your maximum enjoyment of your holiday.
The ground floor spacious lounge and dining area comfortably seats 10 people at any time. There is a also another large lounge/games area in the basement with table tennis, adult darts, full sized table top football and slate pool table.
Lovely natural garden surrounds the villa, superb views over unspoilt countryside. You will relax in seconds not days!

Accessibility
This is a new modern property with easy access from the front gate to the poolside area. We believe it to be totally wheelchair friendly on the ground floor. Lounge, dining area, kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms are all on the ground floor. Only two steps from terrace to pool.
Outside
Location, location, location! The villa occupies prime location on this new elite development of villas, being one of only four villas which backs on to glorious open countryside. Surrounding the villa is an extensive garden of natural scrub, stone, tropical plants with young fruit and fig trees. There is a BBQ and other seating in the lower garden and a boules area.
There is table tennis, dartboard, pool table, table top football game and further seating in the basement games room/lounge.
Lots of off road parking.
There is additional seating on the first floor terrace.
Coast/Beach
Fuseta with its wonderful beach is only 5-6 miles , there are other beaches close by and the stunning Altura beach is 20 mins away. There are boats from Olhao, Cabanas and Taviro which take you to wonderful island beaches. Tavira beach has just been been voted 4th best beach in Europe!! (Telegraph June 2005).
The bigger, noisier Central Algarve beaches, waterparks attractions are only 30-35 mins away, if that is your wish.
Golf
Not only has the Algarve the best golfing climate in Europe it also has some of the best courses and facilities.
To the West, Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo courses are within 25 mins of the villa and Vilamoura a further 15 mins further on. To the East, Benamor, Quinta de Cima and the Quinta de Ria are within 25 mins and Castro Marim a further 10 mins on. Over the Spanish border, only 25 mins away are a further 5 courses, 2 located at Ayamonte. The fantastic new Monte Rei course is approx 20+ mins by car. Truly superb.
If all you want is a flick, in Moncarapacho there is a new Par 3 course and within 4km’s is a 3 hole, pitch and putt (9 tees) with driving range, chipping areas and putting green and truly superb facilities can be enjoyed by all of the family.

Travel
The villa is only 25/26kms from Faro airport and is accessed within 25 mins using outstanding new, fast roads.
Seville airport: approx 1 hr 45 mins from villa. You can often achieve very low cost bookings via Iberia. No problems bringing car from Spain into Portugal. Excellent motorway door to door.
Also look for new UK flights into Lisbon, approx 2.5 hours from villa.
Car hire is essential. Car hire recommendations available on request.
Distances
Within easy distance are: Tavira (regarded as the loveliest town in the Algarve), Estoi (with its Rococo palace and Roman ruins), Olhao (fishing port, markets and fine shopping) and Vila Real (16th century town on the Spanish border. Seville can be reached with 90 mins, Lisbon approx 2.5 hours and Cordoba 3 hours. Within 30 mins driving west one can access major central Algarve towns and attractions. The nearby Ria Formosa National Park offers excelent walks, extensive beaches and birdwatching.
Further details
The small town of Moncarapacho is approx 3 miles away with supermarkets, bars, three excellent restaurants, petrol station, internet cafes, cash machines, museum etc. There is also an excellent bistro restaurant approx 0.8 kms (within walking distance) of the villa. Eating out in this part of the world on wonderful local fish, meats and wine is still incredibly inexpensive.
We cannot emphasise how very inexpensive it is to eat out in the Eastern Algarve. You will find it hard to spend more than E10/night - including local wine!!

We had a wonderful weeks holiday, the villa catered very well for two young families with the pool being an instant and long term hit! We spent lots of time playing in the pool or at the many excellent beaches within easy reach of the villa, most within 1/2 an hours easy drive, some much closer. Good facilities nearby for self catering, including BBQs, plus some excellent nearby restaurants for a night out. Overall the standard of accommodation was excellent. We would loved to have stayed longer.
We really think you need to stress to your guests just how 'cool' (as in trendy) your wonderful pool is. Last year Terry only ventured into another villa pool once a week, this time we just couldn't keep him out of your pool. Sheer luxury - no chemicals. The pool was truly warm and wonderful - and night lights quite magical. (Chris and Terry Reay)
