Furnished to a high standard, accommodation consists of large lounge/dining room with sofa bed, satellite TV, video and music system. Fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezers. All bedrooms have Air conditioning and en-suite bathrooms. Games room with pool table & darts. The villa is centrally situated, so all the beaches and major attractions of the Algarve can easily be reached with a short drive. The villa can be rented in 2 ways - 7/9 people in 3 bedrooms, 11 people in 4 bedrooms.

Changeover day
Rentals periods run Saturday to Saturday. Occupancy commences from 2pm and vacated by 10am. Rentals outside these periods may be accommodated subject to availability.

The villa accommodation internally is all on one level and leads onto a covered terrace with three steps down to the swimming pool area.
A cot and highchair are available for babies and infants.

Stairs leading up to rooftop sun terrace for private sunbathing and even more panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

Coast/Beach
A 15 mins drive brings you to the nearest coastal resort of Armacao de Pera with its beautiful long sandy beach, many bars, restaurants and shops. The lively tourist resort of Albufeira is a 20 mins drive away. The villa is ideally situated to explore the many sandy coves and beaches of the Algarve.
Golf
The nearest golf course is a 5 mins drive towards Silves, a 15 mins drive to Morgado (North of Portimao, 2 x 18 hole courses), Salgados (Vale de Parra), Pestana Golf (Carvoeiro, 2 x 18 hole courses). The championship courses of Penina 20 mins drive and Palmares 25 mins. The many different courses of the Vilamoura-Vale do Lobo area are a 30 mins drive via the motorway.
Travel
Faro airport is 45 mins away. Car hire is essential and can easily be arranged for collection from the airport. Lisbon airport is approximately 2hrs 30 mins away via the motorway. Both airports service scheduled and budget airlines.
Distances
A 10 min drive is the town of Silves, well known for its historic Moorish castle. The stunning Monchique Mountain range is an attractive one hours drive through Cork and Euclyptus forest to the summit. The villa is ideally situated to reach all the beaches and major attractions of the Algarve with a short drive.
Further details
Silves now boasts good shopping at the Modelo and Lidl supermarkets, for your drinks and essentials. The nearest local bar and shop are around one mile and restaurants two to three miles. There are numerous banks and ATMs available throughout the Algarve, for withdrawing money from UK bank accounts. At Guia 10 mins drive is a large shopping centre, with many department stores, supermarket, multiplex cinema (showing English language films), 10-pin bowling, fast food court and retail park. For family activities there are water parks - The Big One (10 mins drive), Slide & Splash (20 mins). Krazy world is an animal park with crazy golf, quad bikes, pool & restaurant (10 mins). Zoo Marine has Dolphin, Seal and Parrot shows with fairground rides (10 mins).

Latcham Family, August 2008 We just wanted to e-mail you to say what a wonderful time we had in Casa da Colina. The pool is fantastic, a great size and kept so clean. When we had had enough of swimming, the terrace was a great place to relax and cool down. The villa we felt, was very spacious, with so much storage room and again spotlessly clean. An added feature which we all thoroughly enjoyed was the pool table & dartboard. Looking forward to seeing you again soon.
