Continue left on foot to famous Vale do Lobo resort or walk right to the beach town of Quarteira with all its facilities and on to Vilamoura with its casino, entertainments, and marina. Each resort has shops and restaurants. If you don't like walking, a car is recommended. Albertos Car Hire will deliver car to you.

Fenced in back garden for privacy, upper terrce BBQ, private heated pool and jacuzzi. Front of house basketball hoop, darts, football game (some stored under master bed). Stuffed animals and push cart toys for little children. Lego and puzzles.
Coast/Beach
3 mins drive, 10 mins walk to lovely Trafal (Fonte Santa) beach with restaurant. 5 minite walk to Vale do Lobo beach and Quarteira beach. Restaurants throughout are visible to right. The beaches in the Algarve are gorgeous and follow one another from east to west coast. Surfing on West coast (one hour drive on motorway 22) is very good.
Golf
Map of Algarve golf coures in entrance welcome guide cupboard. However nearest,Vale do Lobo 3 golf courses views on ocean. Famous Quinta do Lago 2 lovely golf courses, Vilamoura, championship golf courses, Vila do Sol nice golf course. And many more if you wish to try them all. See map.
Travel
Pick up and delivery to and from airport available (not included in price of rental) and Best Deal Rent-a-Car can be reserved for you if desired. If you don't like walking, rental car or taxis available.
Distances
2km west to beach town, Quarteira, post office, tourist office, shops, markets, tennis, doctors, dentists, waterslide park.
Vilamoura, 10 mins drive west, bigger town, casino, marina, discos, water sports, fishing, tours, championship golf courses.
Val do Lobo, 10 mins drive east, 3 golf courses, tennis, art galleries and concerts.
Further details
Almancil. All this area, going east on the Quateira-Almancil road, (see map on ad) is a mecca of excellent restaurants for all budgets. Horseback riding, go-carts. Just beyond is Sao Lourenço Cultural Center, art gallery and concerts Tel 289 395 475. Tell them Netta sent you, and behind the Center, the Sao Lourenço ‘Blue Church’ quite beautiful tourist attarction. After mass on Sunday best time to visit as is often closed otherwise. A map of the Algarve plus a few books on Portugal and day and night things to do in the area will be in white cupboard in entance. A pay-as-you-go cell phone also. Starter money in it. Afterwards it can be refilled at Vodaphone just past the Paula Pharmacy, Quarteira, or any auto bank teller.

Book by email or phone. £600 per week June, £650 per week July -August. One-fourth of total amount upon booking. Remainder 2 months before date of arrival. £200 damage deposit in cash upon arrival - refundable.

1. I find that Fonte Santa has a special magic about it.
2. The house is well situated,and it's possible to do day tours of the Algarve and Spain easily, but lots to do locally too.
3. Exceptionally well furnished house and attentive owner!
