L'Auberge Casa do Monte is a beautiful country house in Algarve style high up above the coastal plain overlooking Vilamoura. It is run as a family concern to high standard. The rooms are stylishly appointed and have all facilities. All the rooms overlook the large pool with children’s paddling pool beside and a romantic atmosphere. The tennis court and the parking are on the top side of house (to see look at pictures). The gardens are exceptionally well kept and the feel is tropical. Notes on accommodation
A large living room, a huge terrace and a barbecue area are at the guests' disposal. And outside around the house, guests can enjoy the large park with the flower garden and the swimming-pool under the beautiful palm trees and the tennis court (free). Free car parking.
Outside
Tropical garden with fully grown palm trees and also a great tennis court. We also have a new barbecue to your full disposal with a great seating area with lovely wooden furniture under the arcades. The swimming pool is 16m long and 5m wide it is private and only for the guests that are staying at the villa.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach (Falesia meaning cliff in Portuguese) is just a 10 min drive from the villa and is also known for being one of the cleanest and most pleasant beaches around. Once you are at the beach you can walk in direction of Albufeira and even further if you wish as the beaches are all connected.
Golf
We have an agreement with all the golf courses, therefore with a good greenfee price. Special packages for one week-stay. Distance to the courses from the villa to the golf courses is about 10min to 1hr. Also available beautiful golf courses with a view over the sea.
Special interest holidays
For horse lovers that also want to enjoy the close contact to the horses in their holidays have the best opportunity for you. We have a very good stable with beautiful Lusitano horses. You have the choices of going on long rides outside and also on the beach. We also offer courses for begginers and children.
Travel
Faro airport is a 20 minute drive from the villa. Owing to the location of our house a car is needed, it will make things easier and will let you reach places easier.If you would just like to leave the villa once in a while we can rent you bicycles or call taxis.
Distances
Vilamoura (5Km from villa) is the nearest little town with the wonderful harbour. This is an inviting atmosphere to go for a walk and have a drink and dinner.
Further details
L'Auberge is located in the Centre of the Algarve. The shopping centres in Guia, Faro or Loule can be reached in 20 minutes. Lisbon or Seville can be reached in about
2 and a half hours.
