Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning is included within the weekly rental. Can provide cooling or heating. If you have a baby no need to bring the house with you. We have a travel cot, childs travel buggy, high chair and toys available for use at no extra charge. Large patio area with 10m x 4.5m salt water swimming pool (much kinder for your eyes & skin than a chlorinated pool).
Steps lead into 1m shallow end which graduates to a 2m deep end. External pool side shower. Traditional Algarvean brick barbecue and barbecue tools. Garden furniture includes table, chairs & 6 sun loungers.
Coast/Beach
10 minutes drive to coast and sandy beaches.
Golf
Within 10 minutes drive from the villa are some of the best golf courses in Europe at Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo and Vilamoura.
Travel
Car hire is essential. Faro airport only 10 - 15 mins drive away. Spain is less tha 40 mins drive. We can help to arrange car hire for you with a local company, if required. For those wanting to have a drink, taxis are available close by in Almancil.
Distances
Almancil is 1 mile away. The popular market town of Loule is 5 mins by car and there is a vegetable and fish market most mornings. 15 mins by car is Faro town the capital of the Algarve, and the old quarters have historic interest. A modern shopping centre is also situated here with multiplex cinema and 10 pin bowling. 10 minutes by car is Quarteira and Villamoura and these are popular tourist areas offering sandy beaches, a marina, restaurants and bars.
Further details
São Lourenço has a historic church and a cultural/art centre. Within Almancil there are banks, chemist, newsagents, supermarkets etc. For those who have an interest in nature the famous Ria Formoso is 10 mins drive from here and is good for bird watching and walking.
On the coast a multitude of activites can be found including horse riding, paragliding, sailing, swimming, tennis, water skiing and wind-surfing.

Security deposit of £250. 25% deposit on booking. Full payment 6 weeks before departure. Maximum of 6 people.
