Changeover day
Saturday/Sunday or Thursday according to availabilty. Access to villa normally available after 3pm but resort facilities can be used if arriving earlier.

Coast/Beach
The beach is approx 800 yards, 10 mins walk or 2 mins by car. Famous 7km long beach stretching from Faro Island to Vilamoura. Ampler sunloungers, beach bars, water sports etc.
Golf
Discounted golf booking available at Dunas Douradas reception for many of the local courses. 18 hole Texas Scramble every Tuesday - book with Gay Evans at Restaurant Xenia opposite.
Travel
Scheduled or chartered flights to Faro. 20 mins by car or taxi from the airport. Car essential many car, rental companies on hand. Our recommendation ZIT Autos, contact owners for details.
Distances
There are supermarkets at Vale do Lobo and Buganvila Plaza each 5 mins by car. Small shop for essential in resport pool area. Additional shopping and best supermarket (Apolonia) in Almancil 10 mins by car (closed Sundays).
Further details
Restaurant and pool bar/bistro with adjoining Olympic size pool are located only steps away from the villa. Many restaurants within 5km.
