Casa do Artur well appointed villa in Vale do Lobo set in a tree lined square away from roads offering peace and safety for children. Only a 5 min walk down the majestic sandstone cliffs leads you to miles of gleaming, white sands and a beautiful, blue sea. A further walk down the beach greets you with an attractive, beach restaurant full of various cocktails to quench your thirst at an affordable price. The praca provides you with the main entrance to the beach, many restaurants including Italian and Chinese and a small shop where you can purchase souvenirs. There are also numerous bars available and a night club. In the evening, live bands play every night throughout the summer. With two championship golf courses, tennis centre, free membership of Barrington Leisure Club, with its indoor and outdoor swimming pools and other full sports facilties, it's a sportsmans paradise. However, if sports not your thing, spa facilities are also available, so you can really wind down.

Our changeover day is Thursday thoughout the summer, although we will always try to be flexible if at all possible.

Outside
The property is surrounded on three sides by its own terraces with BBQ and patio furniture for outside dining. Roof terrace with sun loungers to admire the fantastic view. It is within easy walking distance of the Praca, Barringtons and beach.
There is a supermarket on site, only a 10 minutes drive away that will supply all your needs.
Coast/Beach
The fantastic Vale do Lobo beach is only a 5 minute walk away. Here you can walk for hours in either direction, with beach bars placed in amongst the rocks for those much needed breaks.
Golf
Apart from the two main courses in Vale do Lobo that are just a few minutes walk, there are a further 15 quality courses in the surrounding area. Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura have 10 between them for you to enjoy and Barringtons have a driving range and, I believe, Europe's longest putting green! Attractive discounts are available to all our guests at most courses.
Travel
Faro airport is only 20 minutes by car. We would recommend a hire car for at least some of your stay to make the most of the local shops, attractions and restaurants which can all be reasonably priced.
We have an arrangement with a car hire company at Faro airport and can offer very attractive prices to all guests.
Distances
The towns of Almancil & Quarteira are within 10 minutes drive. The market town of Loule takes about 20 minutes.
If you fancy a full day out drive the length of the coast West to Cape St Vincent (about 2 hours) or alternatively go East and you can cross the Spanish border in about 45 minutes.
Further details
Vale do Lobo has most requirements covered from doctors surgery, supermarkets, cash machines, kids clubs, water sports etc, etc. There are very good English speaking supermarkets and butchers in Almancil which is only 10 mins drive.
Booking notes
A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking with the balance and a £300 returnable breakages deposit payable 4 weeks before departure. The breakages deposit is reimbursed three weeks after your return.
