Casa Romazeira is a luxury villa with its own heated pool, ideal for family holidays or for groups of friends wishing to play tennis, golf or just relax. The villa is directly opposite Carvoeiro Tennis Club where membership can be arranged or just simple use of the tennis courts as required. Casa Romazeira is very spacious with plenty of places for everyone to escape to, both inside and out. In addition to the enormous sitting room with wall-to-wall French windows that overlook the beautiful gardens, there are 2 further sitting areas, one with widescreen TV and the other with TV and a Playstation 2. There are dining areas both inside and out that each seat 12-14 and several different terraces to sit in the sun or shade, both upstairs and down. The heated swimming pool has been completely modernised in 2006 incorporating a fresh water rather than chlorine system and a Solar Safe Pool Cover that both retains the temperature of the pool and provides protection for small children.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Cots and high chairs are included in the price (normally up to 2 of each). Air-conditioning and pool heating are included during peak season, but there may be a charge for excessive use.
Changeover day
The preferred changeover day is Saturday/Sunday, but the owners are flexible. Arrival is from 2pm and departure by 10am. However this can be varied in individual circumstances. Booking for periods other than a week can be accepted outside peak season.

There is a regular maid service (3 or 4 days per week, depending on arrival day). All towels (including beach) and linen is provided. |
Notes on accommodation
The villa has air conditioning in all the bedrooms and there is also central heating for the colder months. The 5th en-suite bedroom can be accessed from the swimming pool providing an excellent area for those requiring a little more privacy from the main party.

Accessibility
The gardens and ground floor are all wheelchair accessible.
Outside
The heated private pool (9m x 4m) was completely renovated in 2006. It incorporates Roman steps and a freshwater rather than chlorine system. There are several terraces for sunbathing or relaxing, both upstairs and down. Outside the kitchen, on the shaded 9m x 4m terrace, is a new built-in BBQ and 3.5m long granite table seating 12-14.
Coast/Beach
It is only a 10 minute walk to the clifftops from where it is possible to walk into Carvoeiro or westwards to the lovely Caneiros beach where the superb Rei das Praias seafood restaurant provides an excellent reward for those who have walked. In the car, the local beaches are less than 5 minutes away. There are several pretty coves and other delightful stretches of long open beaches within easy access.
Golf
Casa Romazeira is situated within 5 minutes drive of the Pestana Golf Resort which is located between Lagoa and Carvoeiro. The two courses, Gramacho and Pinta, are laid out over the most scenic undulating terrain amongst olive groves, carob, fig and almond trees. The Pestana Golf Academy is on site, with a golf school, driving range and practice green. There are two clubhouses, shops and snack bars as well as a small supermarket. There are many other superb golf courses within a short journey.

Can easily be arranged at Carvoeiro Tennis Club opposite the villa either through temporary memebership or individual booking of court times, lessons or courses. Please see our own website for information.
Spa Treatments:
Why not spoil yourselves and book a spa treatment during your holiday? What greater luxury than a wonderfully relaxing aromatherapy massage or refreshing Indian Head massage. Maybe you didn’t have time whilst getting the family ready for the holiday for that all important manicure and pedicure to show off those nice new sandals! These treatments and more can all be provided on site at the villa. We can arrange treatments to be given by a qualified therapist and beautician as well as a qualified reflexologist. No need to make it stressful and worry about how to get there, who’s got the car, what about the children and all those other concerns. Simply book your treatment, sit back and relax. Travel
Casa Romazeira is approximately 60km from Faro airport. Transport can be arranged from the airport and taxis are readily available, but car hire is recommended. The owners can provide details of car hire companys.
Distances
The villa is situated on the edge of the pretty village of Carvoeiro with its numerous restaurants. Lagoa and Estombar are also less than 5 minutes by car. The old moorish town of Silves is approximately 15 minutes by car. Splash & Slide is less than 5 minutes from the villa by car. Other waterparks and Zoo Marine are also within easy driving distance.
Further details
There are several small supermarkets close by within walking distance. There are larger supermarket for major shopping less than 5 mins by car. There are plenty of restaurants close to the villa with the nearest within approx. 5 mins walking distance. However if you prefer to stay in, the owners can arrange for evening meals to be prepared in the villa, so there is no need to shop, worry about babysitters or taxis. Alternatively, if you would like a quiet night out, babysitting can be arranged.
Booking notes
A 20% deposit is required to secure the booking. Payment of the balance should be made 8 weeks before departure. A refundable damage deposit of £300 is also required. Payment can be made electronically or by cheque. The owners will provide further information when a booking is made.
