This apartment is is also furnished to a very high standard. It is extremely comfortable and relaxing. Air conditioning is provided in the living area and bedrooms. The 2 bedrooms are very large (1 double and 1 twin). Additional sleeping options are provided by a sofa bed in the living room. There are 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite). The large living and dining area are open plan. The contemporary white kitchen is newly-installed and is fully equipped. The apartment has cable TV, DVD player and a Bose CD/Radio system. There is a large library of CDs, DVDs and videos. The roof terrace is ideal for a bit of 'alfresco' dining, enjoying a glass of wine while taking in the magnificent views or simply sunbathing. |

Maid service is provided twice during the week and once at the weekend when all the linens are changed.
Outside
Windmill Hill is a low rise complex, consisting of only 91 units. The complex is caringly maintained. The gardens are mature with palm trees, various types of fruit trees and shrubs. The paths throughout are cobbled. The delightful swimming pool (including children's section) is positioned alongside the restored windmill, is surrounded by mature palm trees and overlooks Albufeira old town and the magnificent coastline. The complex also boasts two tennis courts and a snack bar.
Coast/Beach
Windmill Hill is only an 8 - 10 minute walk to the nearest beach and within easy reach of many other magnificant beaches throughout the area.
Golf
The complex is within easy access to many of the golf courses in the area.
Travel
Windmill Hill is 40km from Faro airport. The airport is well serviced by budget airlines. Taxis cost 35 – 45 euros. Car hire, though not essentially is readily available.
Distances
Windmill Hill is just an 8 to 10 mins walk to the old town of Albufeira and a short distance to the new marina. A short taxi ride takes you to the vibrant strip area and the Algarve shopping complex. Albufeira is one of the Algarve’s most popular resorts but retains its distinctive Portuguese character. The historic town is particularly pretty with its narrow cobbled streets lined with whitewashed houses, restaurants and shops. The central square is a good place to sit and watch the world go by.
Further details
The area around Albufeira provides opportunities to indulge in all varieties of water sports. In addition, there are superb golf courses, aqua parks, zoo marine, other play parks and attractive villages within a short distance of the town.
