Vila Sol Village is an excellent choice for a short golf break or a family holiday at any time of the year. The Vila Sol Spa & Golf Resort in Vilamoura, lies within an estate of some 150 hectares of stunning natural scenery, containing a 27 hole championship golf course, five star luxury hotel, modern health Spa, tennis courts, private beach club and 6 distinctive restaurants and two bars. The resort is within a 20 minute drive of Faro International Airport. Vila Sol village has a large garden area, with 3 swimming pools (one of which is heated), a Jacuzzi and a toddlers pool and a pool side restaurant serving lunch time meals and snacks. The two bedroom apartment sleeps 4 adults with an additional sofa bed within the lounge area for 2 children. The apartment is tastefully decorated and fully air conditioned with a large balcony that over looks the garden and pools.

Coast/Beach
As a Village resident, access to the private beach and water sports club is also available. The beach is a 15 minute drive away and is next to a restaurant and cafe. Vilamoura and Quarteria beaches are 5 to 10 minutes drive away.
Golf
The Algarve is a golfer’s paradise with superb weather and a vast number of excellent golf courses within close proximity to one another. Vila Sol golf club and golf academy/driving range is only minutes away where you can enjoy up to 30% discount. Travel
Faro airport is 20 minutes drive. Taxis are plentiful at approx cost of 20 euro’s, however, hiring a car is recommended as this will then give you the freedom to explore the sights that the Algarve has to offer. Car hire is reasonably priced particularly if you book in advance on the web.
Distances
At the centre of the Vilamoura resort is the marina, where multi-coloured apartment blocks, hotels and restaurants cluster around the water’s edge with the beach approximately 5 minutes walk.
Quarteira has a Portuguese atmosphere than that found in many tourist enclaves on the coast. The beach is long and sandy, and runs virtually uninterrupted all the way east to Faro. There are two water parks within easy reach of Quarteira. Aqua show is on the same road as Vilasol going north from the golf.
Further details
A number of good supermarkets are in Loule, which offer a wide choice of fresh fish, vegetables and of course wine. If you like shopping, then would suggest The Algarve shopping centre in Faro and the large retail parks at Guia and Portimao, which offer a selection of designer clothes, shoes and handbags featuring particularly strongly. If you like the more traditional markets, then these are to be found in Quarteira and Loule.
Booking notes
25% (non-refundable) deposit required on booking. Balance required 8 weeks before arrival. A 200 Euro or £150 deposit will be required for breakage and other damage. This will be refunded after the apartment and inventory has been checked.
