Security coded entrance to building. Elevator. Safety deposit box. Only 20 minutes from Faro airport. 15 minutes walk to centre of Vilamoura. Nearest restaurants 3 minutes walk. Supermarket 3 minutes walk. Only 10 minute walk to new Vilamoura Hilton Hotel. These are privately owned apartments. NOT a 'package holiday' or '18 - 30 holiday' complex.

Kitchen: Separate fully fitted kitchen. Oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster. All cutlery and utensils required are here.
Utility Room: Washing machine. Iron and board. Sun umbrellas.
Living Rooms: Bright spacious lounge with air-conditioning. Portable room fan. Dining table and chairs. Double sofabed. 2 armchairs. Cable TV + DVD for films and CDs. Large selection of DVD films and CDs.
Other: South facing balcony with very pleasant outlook. Table and 4 chairs. 2 reclining, folding chairs (lightweight) for pool or beach use. Sun parasols for beach use.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels (not beach or pool) and linen included. Apartment cleaned before you arrive and after you leave. If staying more than 1 week towels and linen will be changed at halfway stage with a clean of apartment also.

Coast/Beach
Choice of beautiful spotlessly clean sandy beaches. Everywhere in Vilamoura is 100% environmentally friendly.

Golf
6 excellent golf courses within minutes drive. Pinhal Club within walking distance (10 mins) with golf driving range.

Special interest holidays
There are nature reserves in the area popular with bird watchers and at the Marina every watersport is catered for. Ideal for walkers as area completely flat. Good sea fishing from beach, jetty or boat. Excellent super clean beaches. Vilamoura has won all the top awards for Ecology and this is evident from the cleanliness of the whole area.

Travel
Faro is the airport for the region. 20 mins taxi, about 24 Euros. I can arrange for the driver to be waiting in the airport with your name card to beat the queues. Knows where to go. Due to the location of the apartment a car is not essential however the availability of one gives you the opportunity to see much more of the beauty of the countryside. There is remote controlled off road parking at the apartment. Bicycles can be hired locally.

Distances
Nearest town to Vilamoura is Quarteira. (1 1/2 miles) It has the largest variety market on the Algarve (Wednesday) plus daily fish and fruit market. A beautiful beach and excellent shops. Loule has great historical interest + a myriad of shops with 2 Saturday markets. 20 minutes drive or take the bus. Algarve Shopping is 20 minutes by car or bus and is a massive complex of the best shops on the Algarve. Albufeira is 30 mins drive. Faro 20 mins or take the bus. 10 mins walk to new Hilton Hotel.

Further details
Nearest restaurant 2 mins walk. Supermarket 3 mins walk. Convenient bus routes + the 'roadtrain' passes the apartment approximately every 20 minutes. One ticket entitles you to limitless travel all day! A great way to get around, see the area and fun for children and adults alike. It will take you anywhere in Vilamoura. Vilamoura is a privately owned area of the Algarve. A spotlessly clean and environmentally friendly area with manicured lawns, palm tree and shrub lined roads. It has won many top awards. There is a Zoo Marine Park and also an Aqua Fun Park both within 20 mins drive or take the coach. Largest Marina in Europe lined with bars, restaurants and top class boutiques. There are too many attributes to name here but a look at 'Vilamoura' on the internet will display the attraction of the area. Recently featured on GMTV (April 2007) as the best holiday destination. Voted 'Best European Holiday Destination' (September 2007).
