This spacious studio apartment is located just 5 mins walk from 2 beautiful beaches, in the popular, quiet residential area of Sao Rafael. In August 2008, Sao Rafael beach was voted the best beach in Portugal and the fourth best beach in Europe. The fully equipped apartment looks onto a large shared pool and seperate children's pool. The development has beautifully established landscaped gardens with trees and a wide variety of shrubs and flowers. Albufeira Old Town with its many bars and restaurants is just 5 mins drive away with the new marina and harbour even closer (both within walking distance). There are plenty of local bars and restaurants, catering for most tastes. A number of good golf courses are within easy reach by car, Salgados Golf Course just 5 mins away.

There are 2 beautiful local beaches within 5/10 mins walk. Both beaches are ideal for families. Gale beach just a 10 mins drive away.
Golf
Plenty of quality golf courses within driving distance. Salgados 5 mins, Vale de Pinta 15 mins, and many more. Villamoura approx 20 mins.
Travel
Faro airport 35 mins drive. Easy drive from airport to resort. Car hire recommended but not essential (can be arranged on request). Contact for airport transfers available.
Distances
Albufeira Old Town 5 mins drive 30 mins walk. Albufeira Marina 3 mins drive 15/20 mins walk. Salgados Golf 5 mins drive. Zoomarine (dolphins etc) 15 mins drive.
Further details
Central Algarve has activities for all ages, with the resort of Sao Rafael ideally situated. Daily boat/fishing trips from Albufeira Marina. Supermarket within 7 mins walk.
