The three bedroom duplex apartment is situated in a prime location facing the main swimming pool in the centre of the Old Village. The apartment is arranged over two floors and is entered via an elegant tiled hallway, which leads onto the three bedrooms and a bathroom suite. The flight of stairs will take you to the spacious living room. A modern fully fitted kitchen and dining area. The living area has double patio doors opening onto a magnificent, partly shaded, private terrace giving impressive southerly views across the main swimming pool of the village to the Pinhal golf course and to the sea. On the terrace, you will find a table and chairs for relaxing and an additional WC.

Changeover day
We try to make the changeover days Thursdays and Saturdays, but we can try to be flexible. Adequate time is required to clean the apartment, so it is essential that the premises be vacated by 10am and entry is not before 3pm.

| Living Rooms: | The lounge/dining area has satellite TV, a DVD and CD player, comfortable sofas, dining table etc. The double patio doors in the lounge open out onto the large terrace. |
| Other: | The private terrace offers impressive southerly views across the main swimming pool of the village to the Pinhal golf course and to the sea. You will find a table and chairs for relaxing on your private terrace and an additional WC. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Indoor towels and linen are supplied, but please bring your own pool/beach towels. The apartment has a towel and bed linen change once a week. |

There is a safe available within the apartment for a small weekly charge.
Accessibility
The apartment is accessed by a flight of external stairs. Suitable for couples, families and golfers.
Outside
There are 3 swimming pools in the Old Village. The Old Village also has a supermarket open 7 days a week. The Old Village also has 2 cafe bars, 3 restaurants and a children's playground. The main pool has a huge 'shallow end' for safe bathing. Car rental and excursions can be arranged through our local property agents if required.
Coast/Beach
There are two main beaches in vilamoura - Marina beach and Falesia. Both have lovely golden sands, but the latter has better facilities including snack bars, sunbeds and umbrellas. The beach is a 15 minute walk from the Old Village. Vilamoura has plenty of shops including some fashionable clothes boutiques. There are copious opportunities for souvenir and handicraft shopping. The nightlife is lively, cosmopolitan and varied, with bars, cafes, clubs and restaurants.
Golf
Vilamoura is famous for golf and there are 6 courses in the immediate area, 5 Championship golf cousres, Pinhal, The Old Course, Laguna, Millenium. Arnold Palmer designed Victoria golf course, which hosted the World Cup in 2005. In addition there are several other courses within easy reach along the coast, making it an ideal base for a golf holiday. It is worth noting that it is much cheaper to book golf through booking agents than to pay directly to the course itself and our local agents can undertake bookings for you, at very reasonable cost.
Travel
The Old Village is a 25 minute drive from Faro International Airport. There are Taxi's that service the airport which cost approx €30.00 for 4 people. Due to the Old Village being so central a car is not necessary.
Distances
Quarteira is about 3 km from the Old Village, with a large market every Wednesday and a fascinating daily fish market. Loule town is 20 minutes by car and has a weekly market.
Further details
If you did not want to hire a car on your holiday, you would not miss out on anything that you would expect from a great holiday. The Old Village complex offers three beautiful swimming pools to all who stay here. (Please note that there is a small charge for the use of the sun beds.) There is also a children's playground. You will be able to stock up on almost anything you need at the Old Village’s supermarket which is open every day and there are various restaurants within the development, whether you want a quick snack or a more fulfilling meal. There is also a bar with pool table just minutes from the apartment. There is ample car parking on the perimeter of the village for the visitors wishing to hire cars. Our agents are on site and will be happy to help you with any information that you need. There is an information pack in the house which has details of lots of activities, waterparks, and services.
Booking notes
To secure your booking, a non-returnable deposit of 20% of the total cost should be received to secure booking. Balances are due at least 8 weeks prior to departure date. At that stage, we will send directions to the apartment, as well as details regarding how to contact the local agents and how to access the apartment.
In addition a £100 refundable breakages deposit is payable upon booking. This deposit will be returned after the property has been inspected at the end of the rental period.

My daughter was very impressed with the loo on the veranda. The Old Village is very impressive and we will be recommending your apartment to our family and friends. We thought that the apartment was just great and it is the first time that we have had breakfast, lunch and as many evening meals outside on the terrace.
The location was ideal for us and we enjoyed Quatera very much. I could go on describing our holiday and still be writing for an hour. I think you get the gist that we had a great time.
I will undoudtedly contact you should we go to Portugal again as it is a wonderful base to start to explore.
