Built in the style of 18th century Portuguese architecture, the Old Village is well known for its style and beautifully landscaped gardens. The whole complex is completely pedestrianised and is ideal for children. The village has 6 cafe/bars, 3 restaurants, 2 pool bars, a supermarket, children's play area and three swimming pools. 24 hour security and on-site agent to offer advice and arrange activities.

A large private terrace, with garden is accessed from the lounge by two double Georgian patio doors. Table with parasol and 4 chairs, 2 sun loungers and a barbecue. First class view over the gardens and pool area.

Coast/Beach
Both The Falesia beach (blue flag rated) and Vilamoura beach are a 15 minute walk, or 5 minutes by car. A motorized train leaves The Old Village every 30 minutes to the beach and marina.

Golf
The Old Village is surrounded by Pinhal golf course and there are 5 other premier golf courses within the immediate vicinity, along with a first class golfing academy. Our on-site agent can arrange discounted golf packages.

Travel
Faro Airport is 25 minutes away by car. A car is not absolutely essential for Vilamoura itself, however it would be an advantage to golfers and those wishing to visit some of the surrounding areas.

Distances
Vilamoura marina is a 10 minute walk. Vilamoura beach or Falesia Beach is a 15 minute walk. Vilamoura tennis centre is a 5 minute walk.
The nearby town of Quarteira has a daily fish and fresh produce market and a general market every Wednesday and is easily reached by bus or taxi. The inland town of Loule which is 15 minutes by car has a popular market every Saturday morning.
