Spacious apartment, in an excellent location for holidays. With a lounge and kitchenette downstairs and 2 bedrooms and newly refurbished bathroom upstairs, each room with its own private balcony. There is a communal swimming pool and separate children’s pool and lift access to all floors. The location is perfect for families, couples or individuals who are looking for a holiday without the need of a car. There are an abundance of bars, shops and restaurants nearby as well as a bakery, patisserie, newsagents, hairdressers and launderette just across the road and Montechoro Park. Oura beach is a 15 minute walk away and for the more energetic there is a fitness centre and tennis courts at the Montechoro Hotel next door. Salgados golf course and 5 championship courses at Vilamoura 10 min drive as are the new Marina at Albufeira and more glorious beaches at Gale, San Rafael, Coelha and Salgados. If required there is a local bus service, cheap taxis and the ever popular tourist train!

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible. We try not to have arrivals / departures on the same day so guests can stay in the apartment at their leisure before they have to leave. If this situation does arise arrival and departure times will be agreed beforehand.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with twin beds, extra beds under, fitted wardrobes with safe, private balcony with pool and sea view.
Bedroom 2 with twin beds, free standing wardrobe and private balcony with garden view.
Cot can be provided on request.
Bathrooms: Newly refurbished bathroom with bath/shower over, sink, bidet and wc.
Kitchen: Kitchenette including cooker, extractor, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, sandwich toaster, kettle plus a full range of utensils, crockery, glassware, pans and linen, breakfast bar. The boiler provides constant hot water at all times.
Utility Room: Upstairs the washing machine is next to the bathroom.
Living Rooms: Lounge/dining room with kitchenette in the corner, TV, DVD, cd/cassette/radio, double sofabed, dining table and seating for 6, doors to private balcony with garden view and patio furniture including table, parasol and 6 chairs. Highchair can be provided.
Other: Outside space is important on holiday and all 3 balconies are spacious enough to sit with table and chairs to enjoy alfresco dining or just soak up the sun and watch the world go by. Recently installed a Wireless Internet connection and cable TV.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels, t-towels, linen provided (including beach towels). Mid week towel change, linen changed weekly.

 

Notes on accommodation
Long term rentals and daily rates available on request. Apartment is on 3rd and 4th floors accessed via lift. Suitable for families but small children must be supervised on balconies. Air conditioning is not required as we have a natural cooling breeze with balcony doors open. Books and board games supplied, a selection of CDs and DVDs are provided also. Please note this is a no smoking apartment, guests are welcome to smoke outside on the balconies. Cots, highchairs and room fans can be provided on request. Recently installed wireless internet connection and cable TV. More photos available on request.

Accessibility
There are a couple of steps as you enter the main building and a few steps down to the lift access. Once on the 3rd floor direct access into the apartment. Being a duplex apartment the bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs on the 4th floor so may not be suitable for people with mobility problems. Please ask for more details if you're not sure.

Outside
Large communal swimming pool and separate children’s pool accessed with key, sunbeds provided. Restricted access to pool out of season. Outside off road parking and garden area. All balconies provided with patio furniture. Car hire or private airport transfers available.

Coast/Beach
Oura beach is a 15 min walk. Many other beaches within 5-10 mins drive including Fisherman's, Sta Eulalia, Gale, Salgados, Castelo, Coehlo, Sao Rafael, Evaristo, Falesia and many more.

Golf
Nearest golf course is Salgados which is only a 10 min drive. One of the newest on the Algarve it presents quite a challenge as it features many water hazards as the course is built on reclaimed land. Many other courses are within a short drive including The Old Course, Millennium, Laguna, Pinhal and the recently opened Victoria at Vilamoura, the Ocean and Royal at Vale do Lobo, San Lorenzo, Quinta North, Quinta South and Pinheiros Altos at Quinta do Lago. The newest course at Silves is 15 minutes drive and is part of the Pestana group.

Travel
Distance from Faro airport 25 mins drive with easy access straight off motorway (A22) or EN125. Nearest railway station (Ferreiras) 15 mins drive. Local bus route nearby. Taxis cheap and efficient. Car not needed but if required discounted rates are available. Tourist train nearby to take you to the Old Town and back again.

Distances
Old Town Albufeira 5 mins drive or 30 mins walk along the beach and clifftops or along the old coast road. Algarve shopping centre 10 mins drive. Vilamoura 15 mins drive. Vale do Lobo/Quinta do Lago 20 mins drive.

Further details
A whole range of excursions and leisure activities can be booked locally including water parks, Zoomarine, scuba-diving, fishing, sailing, horse riding, bicycle/moped hire and much more. For those who enjoy painting, the rugged coastline, sandy beaches, umberella pines and natural surroundings are perfect for outstanding compositions and all within a few minutes drive. All amenities are close by with several banks, multibanks, money exchanges as well as internet cafes and telephone kiosks. Montechoro Fun Park is 2 minutes around the corner with a variety of bars including the famous Erin's Isle and Father Ed's Irish entertainment venues, restaurants, huge swimming pool with inflatables and games plus crazy golf. Everything you could possibly want for an enjoyable holiday is right on your doorstep.

Booking notes
20% deposit on booking, balance due 8 weeks before holiday. £100 deposit cheque against any damages payable 8 weeks before holiday and refunded within 14 days after holiday if all is well in apartment. Welcome pack provided, private airport transfers available at a cost of 50 euros return payable locally (up to 4 people) or 80 euros return (6/8 people). Car hire can also be arranged at discounted rates, booster/child seats can be provided on request.
