The quiet location, together with comfortable indoor and outdoor living areas make this a perfect family holiday place. A selection of games, books and DVDs are also provided for your enjoyment. With a traditional wood burning salamander and central heating, the villa is also ideal for all year round use. There is ample secure storage space for sports equipment such as golf clubs, surf boards and bicycles.

Changeover day
Changeover days can be flexible, depending on existing bookings. Where changeover is on the same day we ask departure before 10.30 am and arrivals no earlier than 4.30 pm.

Outside
Located in a quiet residential area, the villa is set in its own secluded gardens with private pool and BBQ area, with plenty of space to relax. You can stretch out on the sun lounger’s provided or sit in the shade to read or watch the children play safely in the pool. Alfresco dining and cooking on the brick built BBQ is a must!
Coast/Beach
The Obidos Lagoon only a few minutes walk is a magnificent tranquil natural habitat for all types of wildlife and enjoyed by birdwatchers, fishermen, sailors, canoeists and wind surfers alike. Horse riding, walking and cycling are also available locally. At the mouth of the lagoon is the Atlantic Ocean with its expansive, lifeguard patrolled, golden sand beach and safe bathing areas of Foz, surf beaches of Peniche and Baleal.

Fantastic golf with 5 courses within 25 minutes including, Praia D'el Rey (European golf destination and resort - 2007), Golden Eagle and Campo Real!
Travel
This relatively undiscovered corner of Portugal has something for everyone, but car hire (use of a car) is essential. Book early to take advantage of the increasing range of cheap direct flights to Lisbon now offered by Easyjet, TAP, BA, BMI Baby and other carriers from major and regional airports. Car hire is recommended with good local deals available, if you prefer an airport pickup.

Linked by an excellent motorway network this property is an ideal base from which to explore the Silver Coast and experience its unique blend of simple pleasures, beaches, culture and friendly locals that combine to make it a safe and desirable holiday destination.
Further details
Obidos, with its picturesque medieval walled castle is only a 15 minutes drive from the villa, whilst the commercial centre of Caldas da Rainha is also only 10 minutes drive with 6 hypermarkets and fresh fruit/fish markets.

To secure a booking a 50% non-returnable deposit should be paid by bank transfer on confirmation. The balance should be paid two weeks before arrival by bank transfer.
