Our apartment at Vila Sol village is fully equipped to the highest standards and is fully air-conditioned. The south west facing terrace has excellent views – ideal for sunbathing, or later to enjoy the sunset. The apartment overlooks well-tended secure gardens and pools to the rear. Included in the rental price is an owner’s card which provides two free sunbeds and sunshade at Vila Sol’s private beach, as well as discounts for Vila Sol facilities, such as 30% off green fees. As guests you will also have access to facilities at Vila Sol’s 5*hotel, including bars, restaurants, evening entertainment and indoor swimming pool (additional charge applies). The apartment is only 5 minutes from Vilamoura marina, with designer boutiques, bars, restaurants, casino, golf courses and golden beaches. More top golf courses are situated close by at Vale de Lobo and Quinta do Lago. Other local amenities include water parks, horse riding, paragliding, sailing and sea fishing.

Changeover day
Saturday preferred but will be flexible if possible. Apartment is available from 16:00. On your day of departure please vacate by 11:00.

Accessibility
Ample parking is available adjacent to the apartment. Access to the apartment is via one flight of stairs.
Outside
Elevated south-west facing terrace has stunning views across pine groves and the Vila Sol fairways towards Vilamoura. Terrace furniture seats four with outdoor lighting to enjoy the warm evenings. Safe environment with gated access to shared landscaped gardens, jacuzzi, swimming pools and pool side brasserie.
Coast/Beach
Vila Sol’s private blue flag beaches are only 10 minutes drive. The Beach Club offers relaxation, the Sports Beach offers various waters sports and the family beach offers children’s activities and creche. Sunbeds and shades are available free with owners cards. There are also restaurants, toilets, bar, and snack shops. Closer beaches are only 5 minutes drive. Vilamoura has beautiful beaches at Falesia and Marina whilst the gently sloping beach at Quarteira is excellent for young families.

Travel
Faro airport is only 20 minutes drive. Car hire is highly recommended to explore the picturesque villages and rolling landscape of the Algarve. Taxis, however, are inexpensive, and public transport is frequent and reliable.
Distances
There are many restaurants within walking distance of the apartment including Portuguese, Indian and Mediterranean cuisine. The closest supermarket is Apolonia in Almancil (5 minutes drive). Bureaux de Change are available in Vilamoura and Quarteira (both 5 minutes drive).
Further details
This is a selection of the many places to explore along the Algarve.
Aqua Show Water Park (3 minutes drive, North): something for all the family including, flumes, lazy river, roller coaster log flume ride, birds of prey flying displays and the largest wave pool in Portugal.
Almancil (5 minutes drive, East): Renowned for its speciality restaurants and famous Apolonia supermarket. The carting circuit, opened by Ayrton Senna, is also located here.
Vilamoura Marina (5 minutes drive, West): For shopping, restaurants, beaches and bars. Wide choice of boat excursions available, ranging from jet skis and high speed RIBs to catamaran and sailing boat cruises. Great location for just sitting and people watching!
Quarteira (5 minutes drive, South): For a wide range of shops, supermarkets and restaurants. A colourful Gypsy market is held on Wednesday mornings and a fish market is held on the waterfront every Saturday morning selling freshly caught local produce. The wide sandy beach is sheltered and ideal for the family.
Loule (15 minutes drive, North): A bustling market town with old winding alleyways, ancient churches, castle ruins and museum to explore. The Saturday morning market is an excellent experience.
Algarve Shopping, Guia (30 minutes drive, West): Covered shopping mall with many quality stores, supermarket, choice of restaurants and a cinema.
Zoo marine, Guia (30 minutes drive, West): This marine wildlife park is one of the Algarve’s major attractions with a focus on education fun and preservation. Activities include swimming with dolphins, the 'Dolphins in Motion' show, tropical aquarium, manatees, sea lions, bird displays, outdoor swimming pools and theme park rides.
Booking notes
Please email or telephone with your choice of dates. A 25% non refundable deposit will secure your booking. The balance is payable 8 weeks before the start of the holiday. An additional damages deposit of £200 is payable with the balance. This is refunded to you within 2 weeks, once the apartment and inventory has been checked. Damages will be charged in full.
