Situated on the Vila Sol Golf and Country Club resort, this 3 bedroom townhouse offers all the comfort and conveniences you require for your well earned holiday. Stylishly decorated inside with access to immaculately maintained communal pools, you will feel at home here as you bask in the famous Algarve sunshine. (on 8 March 2008 it was 23 degrees Celsius!). The resort has a number of restaurants along with a Spa, golf academy, tennis courts and a 5 star hotel situated on site. Vilamoura with it's lively bars, restaurants and beaches are only 5 mins away by car and the taxis are very affordable.

Bathrooms: En-suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath, shower, wash basin, wc and bidet to master bedroom.
There are 2 other bathrooms adjacent to the 2 remaining bedrooms, each with showering facilities, wc and hand basins.
Kitchen: Modern fully fitted open-plan luxury kitchen with granite work surfaces. All appliances are fully integrated. Includes microwave, dishwasher, oven and fridge/freezer. All utensils, cutlery and crockery are provided.
Utility Room: Fully equipped utility room with washing machine and ample space to air your laundry.
Living Rooms: The lounge/dining room is decorated to the highest standard, including dining suite, 2 large leather sofas, and flat screen TV (UK channels available). The 2 large leather sofas can be converted into double beds should you need the sleeping space.
Other: The patio outside has modern furniture with parasol supplied. There is also a barbecue for those quiet evenings relaxing under the setting sun. The pool is only 50 metres from the patio, and unrestricted views should you have your wee bairns with you.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and linen provided. Change of clean towels and bedlinen once a week should you need it. No beach towels are provided.

 

Notes on accommodation
Cots and high chair can be provided for a small charge. The air-conditioning system heats as well as cools. The townhouse is ideal for children as the views to the pool area are unrestricted from the patio and terrace area and the only traffic is residential.

Accessibility
Sadly the property is not fully ideal for people with special access requirements. There are a small number of steps up to the townhouse itself, however, the bathrooms are on two separate levels, upstairs and downstairs, requiring staircase access. The sofas, however, in the main living area can be converted into beds if required.

Outside
Patio furniture and barbecue are supplied. Delicious fillet steaks are not. The pool area is extremely safe with both adult and kids sections to splash around in and has outside showers. The pool is surrounded by maintained gardens. There is private car parking in the large spacious garage on the basement level of the townhouse.

Coast/Beach
Vilamoura and Quarteira beaches are a 5 minute drive. Vila Sol also has its own private beach approx 15 mins drive away. June to September a Shuttle bus is provided there and back every 30 mins. There is a fantastic Aqua Park close to the resort, with plenty of watery treats for the kids to enjoy.

Golf
This 27 hole Championship golf course designed by Donald Steel is divided into 3 loops with three levels of difficulty: Prime, Challenge and Prestige. Vila Sol has twice played host to the Portuguese Open, in 1992 and 1993. Within 5 mins drive are numerous other world famous course such as Victoria, Laguna, Millennium etc. 2 newly designed Nick Faldo and Christy O'Connor golf courses are opening in 2008. For those willing to travel, it isn't far to many other courses such as Vale Do Lobo and the Quinta resorts.

Special interest holidays
For the more adventurous among you, hiring a car can take you to some wonderful and picturesque Portuguese countryside and some fabulous beaches. The spa on site offers some wonderful relaxation treatments for those who wish to truly unwind and the salon offers a complete service of hairdressing, manicure etc.

Travel
Faro is only 20 mins away from Vila Sol with the taxi costing roughly 20 euros. Pick ups can be arranged for an additional charge. Car hire is not essential but is recommended if you wish to explore more of the Algarve.

Distances
Vilamoura - 5 mins drive. Olhao - traditional Portuguese fishing town 40 mins (east).

Further details
Vilamoura has all you need to supply you on your holiday, from currency exchanges, banks, supermarkets etc. Should you wish to do a complete shop for some groceries, Faro hypermarkets are your best option.
