The villa comprises of a main lounge, 3 bedrooms, fully fitted kitchen with all appliances, double car port, child friendly pool area and veranda with BBQ overlooking pool and roof terrace. It is a 5 mins drive to local village with pharmacy, church, bars, restaurants and supermarket. We are nestled in the foothills of the Algarve and while totally private we have lots of neighbours and are in an ideal position to explore the real Portugal with small villages, where there seems to be some local festival or other, every week. 10 mins will bring you to the resorts of Vilamoura or Albufeira, with their numerous golf and water sports amenities, to name but a few. We also have a large patio area with basketball hoop and badminton net, as well as fantastic views to the sea and surrounding countryside. There is easy access to the motorway (A22) to allow for adventure further afield, and is only 20 mins from Faro Airport.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible and will depend on level of bookings and availability. Generally property to be vacated by 10am on departure date and can be occupied after 3pm on arrival day, but again this is flexible and depends on requirements.
Accommodation

| Other: | An outside utility room containing our pump also houses 2 washing machines and a chest freezer. |

Cleaning may be done once a week and towels and linen also changed once a week. |

Accessibility
Unfortunately there are some steps to access the house but the pool area may be accessed via a side gate with a slight ramp. It is not suitable for people with mobility problems.
Outside
The house overlooks a large front garden with a number of almond trees (Casa das Amendoeiras-The house of the Almond trees). The pool measures 7 x 3 metres and has a shallow end of one metre and deep end of two metres. It is accessed by some steps from the patio and is gated for child safety. As stated there is an outdoor BBQ on the veranda and furniture to allow for some alfresco dining. There are some loungers poolside etc.
Coast/Beach
The coast can be reached in less than 15 mins by car. You have a choice of the numerous resorts, such as Albufeira and Vilamoura etc with beaches, nightlife and restaurants etc, or some beautiful golden beaches where you could have the place to yourself. It is approximately 4 - 5 miles to the coast and all areas are well signposted.
Golf
We are less than 15 mins drive from the numerous golf courses of Vilamoura, marina and nightlife and surrounding areas, and also the resorts of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo with their golf courses, beaches and amenities. There are also numerous other courses in different directions from the property, details of which can be supplied.
Travel
The arrival airport, Faro, is 20 mins drive from the house and car hire is recommended. We can also arrange car hire for you if you wish to compare prices, but do try give us plenty of notice.
Distances
The local village of Boliqueime is 5 mins drive and has everything from a supermarket, shops, church, bank with ATM, pubs and restaurants. There are also a number of typically Portuguese restaurants and bars within a 5 min drive or 10 minute walk, which offer great value. The nearest large town is Loule which has all the above in abundance and also a fresh fish market and an open air market on certain days of the week. An ideal base from which to explore the real Algarve and its people.
Further details
Horse riding, shooting, fishing, cycling or any number of activities can be availed of, or indeed booked to complement your stay.
Booking notes
Booking deposit of 25% (non refundable). Property will be held upon receipt of confirmation email and deposit transferred via bank transfer for 4 days. Balance due 4 weeks prior to arrival date or immediately if date of arrival is less(non refundable). We also reserve the right to charge a damage deposit in certain circumstances.
