Notes on prices
Above mentioned prices are per week per apartment and include water, gas, electricity, weekly laundry, cleaning.
25% deposit is required at time of reservation. The balance is payable 4 weeks before arrival, together with 200 euros security deposit, which is refundable 72 hours after vacating the apartment. Maid service is provided before arrival and once weekly if staying for any length of time. Additional maid service is available on request at a supplementary charge.
Changeover day
Check-in is from 2pm and check out at 10am. Please note that most apartments are non-smoking. Please specify if you are a smoker at the time of booking. Arrival day is flexible.

Notes on accommodation
The apartments have heating and fans on request. Suitable for children.
Accessibility
For those with mobility problems, the apartments on the first floor will pose a problem, but those on the ground floor would be easier to maneuver. The complex has not been constructed for wheelchair users.
Outside
Ground floor apartments have direct access to the beautifully landscaped communal gardens. Outdoor furniture consists of round table with four or six chairs. The complex shares a communal swimming pool and there is a baby pool. It is not heated.
Coast/Beach
The complex of Sao Rafael is only 300 metres walk from beautifully coved and secluded beaches. Beautiful rock formations make your leisure time at the beach doubly pleasurable.
Golf
The Algarve is also known as the all year round haven for golfers. Most of the well known golf courses are located within a 45 minute drive by car, for example Vilamoura's Oceaneo Millennium Golf Course is approx. 27kms a mere 35 minutes by car. There are more than 25 courses in the space of 150 kms, warm playing conditions and immaculately manicured fairways make it the ideal destination for a golfing holiday.
Travel
The nearest airport is Faro, approximately 40kms away from Sao Rafael. It is recommended you hire a car, which I can help you with if required. There are however car rentals at the airport to help you or for deals try on-line.

Further details
Albufeira only 3kms away is internationally known for its inexpensive and good food. It's nightlife in the Old Town or The Strip is second to none. Algarve Shopping has a hypermarket, many different line shops, 8 cinemas, restaurants and much more. Slide and Splash parks for the younger ones are only a few kms away. Albufeira is the nearest centre for banks, post office.
