The accommodation offers visitors a single floor 150m2 traditional style country cottage with beamed ceilings and handmade terracotta floor tiles. Set amongst fruit trees, a fish pond and indigenous shrubs, it creates space but seclusion from the Naturopathic Centre and the owner“s accommodation.

| Bathrooms: | An en-suite bathroom, decorated with handmade tiles and panels, has a deep, cast iron bath tub with traditional bath/shower mixer taps, twin basins, wc, towel dryer, shaver socket and hairdryer. |
| Kitchen: | The large kitchen is fully equipped with a 5 ring gas cooker/grill/oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, reverse-osmosis water purifier, extractor hood and ceiling fan. |
| Utility Room: | Separate utility building with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. |
| Living Rooms: | With 2 comfortable armchairs, a large oak dining table, built-in sofas, an open log fire (for those winter nights), air-conditioning/heater, TV, Satellite, CD, DVD player and surround speakers it brings the comfort of your own home to the Algarve. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and linen included and changed weekly. Beach towels available. Cottage will be cleaned once a week. |
Notes on accommodation
All windows have insect screens which should be kept down. Smokers are not welcome. No toxic material have been used in the construction of the cottage. All cleaning material are non-toxic and bio-degradable.

Outside
Private terrace, shaded by an old almond tree, overlooking the pond with dining table seating 6 persons, large charcoal BBQ and 2 sun-loungers. Mature gardens.
Coast/Beach
The coastline of the Eastern Algarve is a protected area belonging to the Ria Fomosa. There are many sandy beaches along its length as well as islands reached by ferry or water taxi. The nearest beach is at Fuseta, 15 mins drive. Barril beach is 20 minutes drive and reached by an open carriage railway. Several other beaches are within short driving distance of the cottage, with good fish restaurants, cafes. We can recommend good fish restaurants along the coast.
Golf
Benamor is approx 25 minutes. Quinta da Ria and Quinta de Cima are approx 30 minutes. Colinas Verde is 10 minutes (now 18 holes). Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo and Vilamoura are approx 30-35 minutes to the west.
Special interest holidays
The cottage lies, secluded, within the grounds of a small, but busy naturopathic clinic. With an international reputation the clinic draws patients suffering from acute or chronic disorders from all parts of Europe and the United States. The centre offers both preventative and therapeutic modalities ranging from osteopathy, naturopathy, bio-regulatory medicine, homotoxicology to live blood analysis and thermographic breast screening. A clinic brochure can be sent upon request.
Travel
Faro airport is 30 mins away, Seville 2 hours, Lisbon 3 hours. Spain is 30 mins drive away. A car is essential for staying at Casa Nirvana and we can arrange this at very competitive rates.
Distances
The nearest village, Moncarapacho, is 3km and has a daily fresh fruit/fish market, supermarkets, banks, post office, dry cleaner, pharmacy and bakery. Olhao and Tavira are the nearest large towns.
Booking notes
A non-returnable deposit of 50% is required to confirm booking. Balance to be cleared 2 weeks prior to arrival.
